thats so sick theyve got like cameramen suspended in the air next to them

i wish there was a place to do that around here

dont water ramps suck after a while though? its harder because the foam in the boots would soak up alot of water and add on like 10 - 15 pounds..not to mention your edges rusting

I would kill to have a steep hill and a pond in my back yard. Making a water ramp would be so dope

it seems like it would still REALLY hurt ifyou didnt stomp the shit out of your trick. Maybe not?

not if you ride away with afterbang

But I think they have a bubbler to break the water, and its not very high so it shouldn't hurt too much

maybe if you're a bitch. I do 30 foot belly smackers ALL DAY. Not really, it probably would hurt a bit but they're wearing lifejackets so that would help.

yeah its true I guess its really not that bad. I could imagine it being somewhat easy to tweak your knee or something though... but yeah seems sick

that would deff still hurt. the town pool i go to has 10ft diving boards and wen you spin n land sideways/face first it can hurt...a lot. like someone said tho, if you move the water with something its not so bad. at water ramps they use air, but a few hoses with reasonable power should work just fine

it would suck getting out.

youd either have to swim to shore with skis on, or try to take them off underwater and swim with them in your hand to shore.

hurtin'.

Anyone ever lose a ski taking off or landing? Would be a bitch to swim down and find a ski in alota ponds. I really wanted to make one over the summer but i gotta keep my shit in storage in Co while i go home for the summer, maybe next year

Is the pond lining just thick tarp or somthing else. Also what kind of stickers on the bottom of your ski reduced the sucction? One more question, have you used snowgel or do you think that it would work as well.

in steamboat they have water ramps into a lake, without bubbles or anything... you just use straps to attach your skis to your boots so if they fall off, you don't have to look for them... in the last picture it looks like they have bubbles or something... that is the dopest setup

The pond liner is like a 1/8 inch thick plastic. The stickers are neoprene (1/8 inch max depth) with the sticky material on one side. We put two strips down the edges of the skis creating our own "aquatreds". Never heard of snowgel.
