Haha, my Audi has a sport mode...equivelent to his turbo mode and when you hit that shit in sport, the suspension stiffens up,itll do 0-60 in 4.8, and will do a quarter in 14 seconds.

I wish i could say that i have rockford fosgate 15's in the back and 2 3000 watt amps. But i dont..i do have factory bose though. =0)

yeah, i have a white 92 camaro, its an rs, but like yours has no gay body work on it, just stuff from the z28, i dont like body kits for the most part, so i think that civic was sweet. i can only get my camaro going about 145 though, i have 287 gears in the back, so its real quick off the line, but the top end sucks.

skiboardingbitch, pioneer makes good stuf, you just have to get the right stuff, ie high end more costly. i have a full pioneer system in bouth my camaro and my truck, the one in the truck is 3750 watts, and soon to be more, and it works well, the biggest thing that i have noticed with pioneer stuff is that it needs to be matched with a good head unit, right now in my expelorer i have a deh-9600mp head, it cost me 450 bucks off ebay, but its superior to anyother one that you can buy, also when you go to buy stuff, my recomendation is to buy it off ebay, that way you save money on it no matter what, and genraly you can still get stuff brand new for about the same price

I have a 1986 VW Jetta GLI Wolfsburg. Sunroof, Heated Leather Seats, Ski Sack through the back seat to the trunk, Blizzaks on P-Slots, 5spd. It's sometimes fast but it's a beater. There's a lot of work to do on the engine so I'm just gonna paint the hood and any plastic parts and clean up the interior real nice and sell it in the spring. It's a fun car but I want a better condition Jetta from like 1992.

^ Get one from 1991. Trust me, it was the last year of production of Jetta's over in Germany before they moved production to Mexico. Mine runs perfect, very minor problems but thats it.

yep I have an 1985 jetta. still have it. it has had no major problems at all and is an amazing car. now i got a 98 blue beetle. even though it was made in mexico i was so impressed with vw I got another one. it's got yakima racks and ski racks on it. i'l post pics when i get some.

About the SHO being great motor in Taurus body. You have to remember, they have upgraded suspension, stiffened chassis, wider tires, and the Taurus body tends to lend itself quite well to handling. At the time they were outhandling and outpowering every sedan on the road in that pricerange, including Audi's and BMW's, with a nice suspension, they're quite capable cars on a track. I'm racing at Lime Rock this year with the NE SHO club hopefully.

I love the original poster's Civic, nice intercooler. The Volvo's are classic too, awesome cars.

221- Top speed run wasn't worth possibly blowing my motor by redlining all 5 gears, and especially redlining 5th at that speed with that much load on it. I'll pass on that and accept that I did a few MPH less.

And anyways, car had plenty left.

Bangor, SHO's are pretty decent. My main issues are that they LOOK like a taurus, and they are FWD. I'm an AWD whore now.

my friend has a 1973 duster with a 360 with a 650 cfm holley on it. looks like shit goes like stink. it would waste every car on here cep that skyline (the signal r34 is better though)

 
'Waste every car on here' How could you make that claim. Just because it has a 360 with a large carbuerator doesn't necissarily mean that its faster than everything. Post some timeslips and more information on the mods. Plus its not even yours.

comparitively it has a bigger engine than anything, theres no replacement for displacement if i may quote. it has an entire exhaust system higher compression pistons and a ligtened flywheel, soon to have aluminum heads. the throttle response is disgusting, i stepped on it a quarter of the way and the tires spun (on asphalt) id like to see your rebuttle (the gsx r could kill it though)

There is a replacement for displacement. It's called lower vehicle weight and forced induction. Just because it has a 360 doesn't mean it can beat everything with a smaller engine displacement. That sounds like a very lightly modded 360 to me too. Get me some timeslips and I'll easily find you a smaller displacement car that will beat it easily. You sound like you don't know very much about cars so I'll go easy on you, but the statements you've made are pretty ignorant, and you contradict yourself. You state it'll beat everything but the Skyline, correct, but then state that your reasoning for it being able to beat anything is because it has bigger displacement. Hey, buddy, time out here, a Skyline is a 2.5 liter twin turbocharged inline 6, (RB25DETT), thats a hell of a lot smaller than a 360 (which is a 5.8l) Roasting the tires with a 1/4 throttle isn't too tough either, happens to me in 1st gear if I'm not paying attention, and I can burn through two full gears at 1/4 throttle in my friends 88 Mustang LX with some light mods.

It doesn't even sound like its really built up, and a 360 isn't that impressive, you want impressive, I can pull out my good friend's 73 Mustang Mach 1 with a 429 big block with Cobra jet heads. That's an impressive motor. 360's are in Jeep Grand Cherokees for Christ's sake!
