Picking a new park ski.

Hey guys just a few questions I want to ask before I purchase a new park ski.1) I'm 6'1 weigh about 160lb; could i get away with a 177cm ski or would they be too small? 2) advanced skier, not good in the park although I can do 3s, hit rails and boxes; what would be a good ski to have for the park. 3) I've been looking into the line afterbangs although I've heard they are heavy, should I still get them? First thread so be easy on me. Thanks

Try some atomic punx. They would be great for you. Also 177 would be perfect height. Not too short at all

Thanks for the reply. Where can I find some in the Toronto area whether it be this years model or lasts? Or where is a good site that has free shipping or cheap shipping to the Toronto area?

the after bangs are a great choice. they are heavy though and horrible for carving due to a skate deck wall... and the wall breaks really easy once you start getting gnarly haha. i would suggest the new line TC skis in 178. nice and buttery and easy for you to learn on. the new line chronics would be a good choice too. if all u wanna do is ski park go with line TC. if u would like to get out of the park and hit little pow runs or groomers get the chronic

STH14 or 160 and FKS140 are pretty popular on here and would be good for your weight.

Head, Tyrolia, and Atomic all have very good and underrated bindings. Look for something by them in the 14-16 DIN area. I'm pretty sure they are all essentially the same bindings rebranded.

Ya, I didn't mention them because if you're an aggressive you might be a bit too burly for griffons and the jesters are pretty expensive which you didn't want.

The shop will ask you a couple of questions to get you the correct DIN setting though, I'm just trying to give you a ballpark

cheap: marker squire but will break in a week if ur hardcore.

expensive: fks awesome bindings and wont break all the time
