Pick my new skis

I want some new skis to ride pow, trees and cliff drops. I'm tall and about 180 pounds. Never been in the market for fat skis so i don't know a whole lot about them. Looking for something 100+ in the waist.

I'm also a bit hesitant to get on some reverse sidecut rocker skis. What are peoples thoughts on them? would you recommend them?

pretty much, pow and trees, groomers just to get home.

i have some 4frnt STL's from 2 seasons ago and got some line anthems last season so i'm covered for park, groomers etc.

with ur weight i would say arg they are 130 under foot, reverse sidecut and stiff. they kill pow but suck on groomers

the dynastar huge trouble is a really sick ski. It is 115 or so in the waist, which is about the perfect width. Affter you pass the 120 mark the skis start to really suck in anything other then powder or other soft snow, and become horrible on traverses. The huge trouble comes in a 186 which would be as close to perfect as you can get given your size. It will still be long enough to keep you up on top of the snow, but not so long as it becomes cumbersome in the trees. As far as flex goes they are neither supper soft nor supper stiff, but some where in between. They are also supper poppy, great for BC jumps or trying to hop off natural features. The nice thing about being stiffer then a noodle is that they can crush through crud as well as float on powder, where as supper soft skis like the hellbent or the EP pro are not going to handle as well and tend to get tossed around more.

I would really suggest this ski, it is a great powder ski.

the huge trouble sounds pretty much what i'm looking for. cheers

i liked the francis bacons but 182 isn't long enough. do you know any others around the same as the huge troubles or have they got that market cornered?
