Pick my new setup

Haven't bought new skis in a few years (being that i'm in the Midwest, don't get to ski all that often) but I figured it was probably time to make a change.

Previous setup was 2016 Line Chronic 178 with Attack 13s.

I'm open to spending up to $750-$1k for an all-mountain set-up. Aiming for anywhere from 95-105 underfoot, twin tip styled ski, likely around the same length. I'm 6'0, 175 lbs for reference.

I was checking out the new Candide 2.0, which I like, but wanted to see if you guys had any opinions on what the best all-mountain ski is. As far as bindings go, I loved my Attacks but I'm open to suggestions.

Let me know your thoughts.

Look at the J Ski AllPlay. I skied it once last year and have been obsessed since and its "similar" to the 2.0.

I rode the j allplay for 2.5 seasons before upgrading to the j metal. I absolutely love the metal over the all play. For my tastes, I like a stiff underfoot from tip and tail for all mountain and the all play was too noodley for me. If I went with another brand, it would definitely be moment or on3p because they seem to follow the same characteristics of stiff hard charging for their all mountain skis

I would recommend about 108-110 underfoot, and I would also recommend going up to a 182-186 size. I am 6’1” and 145 and I absolutely love my 184’s

Candide 2.0s are the best skis i've ever ridden. Works all mountain, great in the park( because they are soft and playful while being great for charging.) As with bindings I would recommend marker griffons because they look sick and are very durable. :)

Also don't look at or consider marker bindings. They are heavy, have poor retention, and are costly. Pivots or Attacks if you want a nice binding, also salomon sth2 is a good option.
