pic 2 profile

i read the thing on how to get the pic to the profile, but i right click on the pic, go to save picture as, and my only options are .bmp or .art, neither of which are usable. what shall i do oh mighty ones?

About 99.99999999% of images you find on the web will be jpg or gif...

If you have a bmp, just open it in windows paint and save it as a gif or jpg.

i was wondering if that paint method would work... but i couldn't waste the 5kb on my full hard drive. ha thanks guys
