photoshopping movies

well ok when i was watching like the Pop Yer Bottlez and the War trailers i was wondering how they do the beigging stuff is it all photoshop then animated in image ready? or do they use a program like photoshop to do this any help is greatly appreciated

ah alright, i forgot about flash i suppose in War when the stars flash with the beat of the music you'd almost have to do that in flash because in flash you can add the music to time it perfectly then add it to the movie
