so i just got photoshop but i am having some trouble i no how to make layers and stuff but how can i make like say a picture of a skier kind of like blend with the background so i can still see the skier but i can see the background through the skier

whos in da house, SACA is in the house!!! hahahahmuhahahah
 
Also play with blend modes. They are on the layers pallette. It starts out on normal, but different ones make things like overlay on stuff.
