Photography Question

Hey does anyone here shoot with strobes/battery packs with pocket wizards or other remotes? I am looking into getting some and would like some opinions.

Pocket Wizards, no, I'm too cheap. I use shitty ebay slaves that you should never ever ever buy because they are the most frustrating things I have put in my camera bag. I strongly suggest SkyPorts. They are a cheap (relatively) alternative to PW's and in my experience have never once showed any signs of being less reliable than PW's. I've shot with both, SkyPorts are what I'll be upgrading to.

ive only used pocket wizards once and they seemed reliable, but ive heard that they can be pretty frustrating
i was talking about this with andy wright (snowboard photographer) and he said he uses elinchrome, because theyre lighter than profoto strobe stuff
