Photographing Antelope Canyon, UT

I am planning a road trip to Southern Utah for spring break, and wanting to stop to photograph Lower Antelope Canyon. Sounds like I have to get a guide to go into the canyon. Just curious if anyone has been to Lower Antelope Canyon... How much did it cost for the guide? What time of day did you go? etc.

went like 10 years ago (even posted a pic on ns,https://www.newschoolers.com/photos/view/65371/Slot-canyon), it's kind of a joke, was like $30 you drive half a mile up a river bed in the back of an old truck, get to hang out in the canyon for like 20 minutes. You can toss some sand in the air to bring out the light rays. There are other slot canyons that you can access for free.
