SORRY, i took forever, my bad, i'm trying a new poll system and the website has been so bitchy with registering and everything but I'm in finally so we can try an easier voting system. please give feedback, tell me if you like the poll or not, it's an easier way to keep track but you guys might not dig it too much so let me know please

i know there have been literacy issues in the past....
 
haha i did not see the online poll thing when i first voted. its definitely an improvement, nobody wants to count all the posts to see what place a picture is in.
 
So, this is flawed since you had to vote again in order to know that you have to vote again to see the results?
 
I've been clicking the vote button but not actually voting to check the results but I doubt everyone else has done that haha.

yeah i voted twice on 1 =(, but still i probably wasn't the only one to test it out and since you can vote as many times as you want there will probably be more people who will vote more then once. Especially if you use this poll in the first and second round next week.
 
especially when a lot of votes from a certain random state are all for the same photo, i have a feeling a lot of people voted twice
 
How would you know what member it is?

I dunno, bringing on contest bans just because a vote count by polling isn't working seems silly. Just get rid of the polling. I had no problem counting votes. It was honest, and easy. I dunno, why fix what isn't broken?
 
not gonna ban the contest temporarily, i just wanted to try the poll, it didn't work, i'll either try one that works without voting twice or we'll ditch it all together, it was just an experiment
just please be honorable and vote once, if you wanna be a good person, respect the system, if you wanna be a dick and throw off the contest, go ahead and vote a bunch of times
 
didnt mean ban the contest, I mean if clearly someone from west virginia has voted 30 times, and someone from WV is in the contest, temp ban them.
 
we should have a new poll to see how many people voted twice.

also, eventhough the poll was kinda bullshit and we won't do it again, we're still gonna base our results off it, so it might've been a bit swayed because of double voting but i think if we have 60 some odd votes they're prob gonna pick out the best photo unless someone voted for their own 59 times, in that case, said person should shoot themself
