CONTEST CLOSES ON THURSDAY SEPTEMBER 14TH

Good luck, and get creative.

i love doing this but nothing that advanced how did you do it? i can only doo stuff that i can reach with my flash light.

Does it have to be something that you physically draw? Or can it be just long night-time exposures of the sort?

Yea... but the anger was generally more towards the long term repercussions of losing my shoe than not being able to use it for this single contest.

Prolly wont participate in this one, but interested to see if we get any entrants that arent the typical super cliche light paintings.

Pretty sure that was done in a small wooden boat, I think you can see the shape of one over the water from the light hitting it while he was spinning the light. The stars also indicate that it's at least a minute exposure; making complete sense of how he got there and back in a boat in time.

Let's see some entries!

K so... This picture was taken at my cottage and there's a rock thats like 1cm under water out front. So I just stood on that rock and spun around. To make the sphere you tie a flashlight to the end of a string and spin it and then you spin your self in circles. Then its just a simple long exposure, about 2 or 3 mins. Does that make any sense?

ok i'v always wondered what the hell light they are putting on the end of a string. anybody know?

Yea my bad. I meant the 15th. I might consider extending the deadline if we don't get more entries by tomorrow.

haha wow apologies, upgraded from a flip phone to a droid today and i was trying to be cool and reply on my phone but it kept sending for no reason?

Anyways, it took a few tries to get that one but it was my first time doing this kind of photography. Thanks though! I'm def. gonna be doing it more often!
