we have no chance. if i entered it would probly be with my kodak easy use camera. the type that gives you a roll of 20 pictures.

you could make a slide out of footage, it just takes a lot of work.

You'd have to print it out so it's absolutely photo quality and then get it converted to slide form. It can be done but it's mad expensive.

ah that sucks about salomons... maybe I'll just take a pic and edit in some nice teneighties over my lines... hehe

 
they are probebly gonna laugh at any pic taken with a camera under $2000 dollars. no way will they take a low quality print of screenshot from a video still. slides have much better quality and coloring than prints. of course you have to be on salomons - do you think that salomon is gonna give $15,000 to some guy riding on K2s?

just go into photoshop and put salomon topsheets on ur skis... or just cover them with snow.. how are they gonna tell?

when they say pro photographer i dont think they mean pro photographer like scott gaffney,flip mccrick,james lozeau, etc. i think they mean someone that takes pictures in general for a living, not a person that takes ski pictures for a living, but you never know

thats gay that you have to ride salomons although im glad cause i had 1080's wheni had this photo taken that im going to enter. its just a mute grab but how its done is so professional the photographer was really good

 
guys stop whinning about usuing salmon skis they are putting up 30grand so i think they can say use salamon skis..

iwould suspect that theyd use the pic for a poster or one of their ads and it wouldnt work to have one of their competitors skis on it.

I'm more interested with the 'look at me with this hot chick' photo contest. I think I'm going to set up a photo shoot with the cheerleading squad in bikinis. Hell yes.

 
they said the picture will be the centerfold in the october 2002 issue of FREEZE.

I dont think anything digital is going to match up to the quality they want of a 35mm slide.

 
mmmmm i got a pro photographer all i need is a pair of 1080's ( seriously i have a pro photographer, he did some work with me last season and said to call him in the next one. apparently he likes my mutes)
