I bought every ski DVD from these companies from 2004-2013 and many after. Matchstick offers a package to download digital formats of all of their movies.

How can we get the attention of other ski companies to offer the same?

So many of these videos will be lost forever if they don't offer digital formats.

I need to watch High Society, Ready Fire Aim, Refresh, Realtime, Stamina, Born From Ice, and so many epic ski movies, without using a DVD player.

If it's on YouTube you can just YouTube to mp4 it.

I download every banger film on vimeo or YouTube because there's no laws preventing you from doing that, only redistributing it? Either way that shit is basically public domain lol

Also you can buy L1 DVDs on their website, get a disc reader on Amazon for like $10 and then download a DVD ripper and you can digitize those yourself. Just don't redistribute any digital files from a DVD because, unlike YouTube to mp4, doing that can actually get you in legal trouble because of all the licenses involved with the soundtracks and stuff.

Yeah digital downloads would be dope but also 90% of films are free and online these days it's pretty easy tbh

At this point these movies should be free on Youtube so kids can watch them and learn about ski history. There's so many ski movies that are not on the internet

Add plehouse, rage films, tsp, and field productions to the list.

Older pbp films were posted on ns 10 years ago on the [tag=181309]@InspiredMedia[/tag] account

Maybe it's time for the rest or a re-upload?

i mean you can get digital copies on amazon video already. didn’t look to into it but you can at least buy ‘sunny’

for real, something like what snowboarding has (@lostsnowboardvideos on youtube if anyone's interested)

On the topic I wish newer films would get DVDs, I have my Eat the Guts DVD and that’s the last DVD release I remember being done for newer ski movies other than level 1.

First 10 Level 1 movies are already out for free on YouTube. I think Eye Trip might be out for free on YouTube as well but I might be wrong.

Should this thread now be a source for all movies that are currently online? Thanks to all that have posted links.

I think that of course they should be on Youtube and stuff but there's nothing better than having a physical copy. What they should do is like a re-print of their deadstock movies

this is so sick, and the bonus content on it is sick too, and ive heard good things about wasteland itself, and i'm 100% going to buy this. but lmao why is it on DVD rather than blu ray???

Isn't financially possible to do a Bluray given current demand for DVDs etc unfortunately. Would need to do a thousand Bluray units minimum to make it cheap enough - and we can promise given the amount of sales so far there isn't enough demand to make/sell a thousand Blurays.

2024 economics :(

Bummer to hear. Will probably wind up buying the DVD but is there a possibility of a digital format that is just an mp4? I'm not super familiar with Vimeo on demand but is that a program that will allow me to watch the video without internet service?

Also pretty cool that you guys slotted all of those Mango and Pwhite shorts into the DVD

The only option for that is our Complete Collection - we do offer a digital download of the entire catalog!

If you've already purchased the Complete Collection reach out to customerservice@level1productions.com and we'll figure something out with you.
