Some one was caught in a slide about 3 miles outside Eldora today. His friends was with him, but got out and went for help. They have a huge search with RRM and a bunch of other people looking for him. It was this afternoon though, so he is most likey dead. Some one also had to be heli-lifted to Boulder Community today after suffer a head injury the recieved i believe in an avalanche up on Loveland pass. Then there was the guy kicked at Keystone a few days ago. This is certainly a sad way to begin a season. The conditions up at Loveland Pass looked really sweet though.

Funny thing is that there isn't much snow up at Eldora and Rawlins pass. Newspaper said that it was the early season snow which formed 'sugar,' a weak sublayer, which allowed the little snow which was piled on top to slide.

yeah I saw that on the news last night...scary stuff...especially cause like eldora is a pretty wussy area to ski

The in-bounds stuff at Eldroa is crap, but the O.B. isn't bad at all if your willing to hike a little. Going out to the headwall is sweet on powder days, lots of cliffs and shit o launch off of. If only the in-bounds was like the O.B. Do remember Berthoud Pass is right over the Divide.

you call that a fucking relish bottle? Looks like some 1st grader just discovered a green crayon and went berserk

it was Sandusky tryin to rape little boys in the locker room at the lodge. truly a sad start to the season. someone needs to shoot that guy....
