Perisher v Cardies

Cardies has been on the map for years as the place for all the northern park pros to come train over their summer. Has perisher taken over?

I noticed this year once the winter games in nz were over, all the dudes flew to straya to shred fv park, peri.

Beckinsale has a huge perisher budget for the park and its getting bigger every year with all those nasty park edits flying out of it.

Does this mean cardies has been trumped? If youve never been down here, whats the verdict on it from up north? Do you guys here alot about it up there?

I could be completely wrong but I thought perisher was on the epic pass so its a little more cost effective for people from north america to ride there since they already have that pass but like I said thats a guess cause I'm not sure if its actually included in the epic pass.

Perisher is on the epic pass which does make people more likely to go there. They also have really good marketing. Charles has made a big name for himself. I still think Cardrona is better but I am biased. Curious to see what people think.

I personally prefer Cardrona and I think there park is better and possibly even bigger but Perisher is growing really quick and there have been loads of pros over there lately.

Totally agree bro with the epic pass arguement, and with that epic pass they are getting money poured into the park scene by the guys at vail management. Itll be interesting to see what cardies do though in response, more comps? Maybe turn into a windells or something?

Unlike Cadrona, lapping the park at perisher can be super quick. It's like a 2 minute Tbar ride to hit 3 50' + jumps. Perisher is much better.

Guess its all opinion. I would rather lap a high speed lift with a park that is twice as long than ride a T-Bar. Whitestar is 5.5min and I kinda enjoy the lift ride with mates. Although I do like the quick laps for the pipes and big air off the platter at Cardrona.

Perisher does also have a high speed 8 seater chair that is almost quicker than the Tbar and about the same length. I can guarantee that one could get more hits in a day at Perisher than Cardrona.
