Perfect one ski quiver for Lake Tahoe?

Im taking a trip out to lake tahoe for a week this year...last time I was there was in the spring so my regular east coast skis worked fine (Surface Watchlifes).

That being said..iv been looking into getting something a bit bigger / rockered but still has functional use on the east coast (not looking for a full blown pow ski).

What are you tahoe skiers riding as your one ski quiver for do it all skis?

I'm a fellow east coaster and never skied out west in the winter, only summer, and from what you said your looking for in a ski, rocked and a bit bigger but not full blown pow ski, it sounds like the ON3P Kartel 98 or 106 is perfect for what you want

I have heard a lot of good things about this ski. The biggest issue im facing honestly with deciding what im going to buy is that I come from a race background and obviously skiing a lot on the east coast I love ripping g's on groomers.

It doesn't seem like the kartel 106 have enough camber for me. Perfect size in the 106 but I wish it had a bit more camber/less rocker

I have the 106s and love them. Not a whole lot of camber but kinda a lot for a rockered ski. If you're worried about edge hold, don't be. These things rip in every condition. If you want even better edge hold and still great versatility go for the 98.

This guy took the words right out my mouth. There is no better all-around do-it-all ski than the Kartel 98. 106 if you've got a skinny ski to use already- but be warned. The second you ski the Kartels your other skis will be up for sale.
