Perfect north on the up?

Now pns has created some great skiers like Jackson karsteter, and Nick goepper but, there’s this 10 year old kid that can cork 5 and kfed and he’s got style to go with it. There’s this kid named luke thrasher that blew the big air out of the water against adults as a 12 yearold so as long as these kids don’t lose the stoke shits gonna be crazy. And perfect north loves to sponsee park kids in their future endeavors

I am also a pns-goer. The parks went absolutely bananas this year. We've evolved to two big parks now I'd say. Lower hollywood just started out as a little jumps-only zone but they went full blown with it this year. I can't see how more talent won't come out of here if they keep it up with the parks.

**Forgot to provide context to those who aren't from here, we also have a great double-sided rope tow mini park

Perfect north has been so sick lately. I've made the drive all the way down from Cleveland like 10 times this season

the fatty double kink is the best rail I've ever hit

I did a season there last year and it was incredible. That rope tow with copper level features is producing some prodigies. I am making the drive down there tomorrow hopefully just for that dfd and 40 ft long fat tube

he's good obviously and he also did a dub front on a dry slope but one time he sent me a whole essay about why kyle rittenhouse being acquitted on all charges is justified just bc of something i posted on my story. he's prolly cool but i dont like people like that

If we’re talking about Ankilla I view him as a similar to kanye. His views on vaccines all thought more justified for him than anyone else is still wrong and has and will continue to hurt others. I really do think his art and lit chat bars is really sick. I support him as an artist not a person.

I’m looking at going to the university of Cincinnati next year, and ngl perfect north has a lot to do with that.

anyone know the best way to get transportation from campus to pns? I won’t have a car so I need another way to go

Make some friends who go. I don't go to UC but I think they have a ski club or something like that, so if you don't happen to meet anyone who skis you probably could that way. Otherwise maybe uber or something like that, theres not much for public transportation besides the busses in the city that I'm aware of.

Edit: didn't mean to sound discouraging, my point is hitching a ride is your best bet and I hope it works out for you because I love perfect and I'm sure you will too

I went to UC way back when, there is definitely a scene there. Usually there were a handful of UC kids that would go down on the weekends at least. Definitely get involved with the ski club as well, it's mostly your average college skier, but a great way to network for rides. The trips were always a blast when I was there.

The fact that no one has mentioned Chris Laker yet blows my mind

If you're talking about Perfect North, should be talking about Tom Price, Steven and Steph Osborn, Craig Moore, Travis Feiss, and Rich Fahey

Is that from the days of fp32?

In a nutshell, after the hill closed for the season to the public, any snow left was turned into features. You had to pay to attend but you did not have to fight through the crowds like during the season.

Here are some videos. Enjoy the skittle colored kits.

Bro when I first saw this I thought you were bullshitting. They just put it out last night for a preview its fucking insane. I kept falling off at the 4th kink tho, couldn't get the final down section haha.

Grew up skiing park there and honestly wouldn’t change it for the world. They always have a fire set up and it’s very much a homie hill where everybody hangs out together. Also shout out to andy hall he’s the park manager and is the main reason why it’s gotten so good the past couple of years

haha yea fs i only knew abt it because after I got off work there I was driving out and the barn at the end of the parking lot had it in there. I tried it and I'm not the best at kinked rails like that but I got about half and fell off

Best Rail parks in the country! 3 unique parks, short lift rides that overlook every feature, 2 tow ropes with 10-15 features on each. Whats not to love about Perfect North Slopes???

AND we're not owned by VAIL!!!!

I've been skiing here my entire life and it seems that the parks are reaching new heights in terms of feature builds and maintenance. This is almost all thanks to Andy Hall! He has been our park crew manager for 5+ years now and has completely revitalized the park scene here! Obviously their are some names like the Freezing Point32, Jibulant, and Ankilla crews that put us on the map, but this place has never been better! Cultivating skiers like Jackson Carstarter and Nick Goopper. This is just the beginning....

Jibulant, [/quote]

That's a name I've not heard in a long time.

The FP crew set the stage. Would love to see a new crew follow in the footsteps of the three mentioned. Anybody out there filming?
