Just saw on ABC News that Boston and the Northeast was getting hammered, again, with up to 2 feet in places. Just wanted to send out an official "fuck you" from the West Coast, and demand that you post some shots of urban skiing/pow days with all that fresh that you're getting. You better be enjoying it.

Hit a bomb drop to tranny today, was sick as fuuuuuuuuuck. Will upload pictures later, for you viewing pleasure.

It's pretty sick, so much snow. so cold too. Here's a pic from my local hill Blue Hills right outside Boston. I'm gonna tear it up there tomorrow night.

Don't know where you live. It's gonna be 20-25 here in Maine, below freezing but 25 is pretty warm considering it was well below zero yesterday/last night.

at my house in southern New Hampshire right now it is -20, and before this storm we had gotten a lot of rain so all the snow we had before melted or formed a solid ice base that made any thing groomed boilerplate

eh. not that jealous. I'm still gonna be skiing snowbird in May while most of you dicks are hitting your PVC rails

but really, if you're not out getting after it, you should just go fuck yourself with a cactus

Snow is snow, it comes and it goes, don't fret--it's only January.

But for all the fucking stupid YOLO shit in this thread, I have this to post:

Midwest? In minnesota we have got only a few snow showers and its going to be -20 + wind chill making feel like -50 or something.

So yeah, the cities are unfortunately missing out on the pow.

As said ^ it has been absolutely freezing in wisconsin so the mountains are literally sheets of ice. State wide school cancellation monday in anticipation for -50 degree weather (with windchill)

Im from boston and i went out to whistler over xmas and the skiing here is still better than anything ive ever done on the east they did get 11 inches tho so that helps

Sadly a main portion of the season already at Timberline has been sunny and warm. 2 inches yesterday of fresh snow and it felt so amazing sadly.

yeah PC got surprisingly like 5 inches last night and the park is kind of shitty so I've been taking pow bump laps all morning. getting some great facesshots actually. takes me back to my

Midwest skiing roots

Northwest doesn't have shit right now, rocks and sticks everywhere, enjoy it while you can asswipes

Not seeing enough photos of urban skiing with 2 feet of snow in this thread.

On a related note, do Buddhists have their own version of YOLO? Something like YOLOAOA? "You only live over and over again?"

eastern Canada is getting tones of snow too, heres a video of some guys in Newfoundland shredding
=youtu.be (this is not my video credits go to these guys)

yeah lol evidently we have -50 degree weather on deck for monday, and not too much better tuesday. Today sucked too, it was pretty icy. Luckily it'll eventually warm up here so I think snow is probably coming here soon

And I just bought some Blogs off here would be perfect for this storm. Hopefully it will snow like this in February when I'm home.

hhahaa right now this says it all regrading our snow out here....hopefully the end of January will turn around and f-ing DUMP!!

were in Celsius, they're Fahrenheiht, so -25F would be around -32C, which happens often in Alberta but definitely isn't average. And I wouldn't be skiing in that

i blew up one of my breaks today.

even if it snowed like 3 feet in NJ you would never know it if you only looked at creek cause they groom everything.

The only places I know that have snow in the west right now is Western Montana and Jackson Hole. And then I read on unofficial networks that Mt. Bohemia Michigan has received the most snow in the U.S. right now. Crazy shit.

yeah thats for real. This section was NW facing but north facing shit is not much better. We were just scouting jump spots in case it actually does snow at some point this season.

It's too damn cold in minnesota right now, tried to setup an urban rail but the water jug i brought froze before i could pour any on the lip. Most ski areas around minneapolis are closed monday.

And to be completely honest, there isn't that much snow in minneapolis right now, snow totals in december were over 35" but i put a ruler in the ground and there's hardly 8' on the ground.
