People interested in finance

im currently working with John Tabacco, building his web exposure.I was throwing out some ideas to him, and one was to build an internet forum. The internet lacks a good finance community, and I'd like to take on the daunting task of building that. anyone here think they'd lurk, post, or even frequent a site like that? (think like seekingalpha meets newschoolers)

You may not get a whole lot of the NS population to join a finance board, but I certainly would.

That would be a daunting task..unless your only focusing on certain parts of finance? If your gonna incorporate financial regulation, personal finance, corporate finance, public finance, banking regulation, financial standards and markets, budgeting, financial economics and behavioral finance..you can start to understand how complex/overwhelming a project like that could be
But I do think it's an awesome idea and wish you luck..I would definitely lurk around and try to gain some knowledge

just based on JT's model, it would likely start as just a discussion of shorts, possibly of just trading(as opposed to investing), and then ideally expand from there.
