People blasting music on the hill?

Hey guys. I was wondering what your opinion is on people playing music through personal speakers on the hill. What do you think of those people?
 
depends. I remember when it was all about the back pack speakers and such. But now how smaller and stronger the batteries are. They are everywhere. I get it say if your hiking a jump or rail. But when it's in thebloft lines and it's just loud and annoying. That gets old fast. It really shouts look at me but really. It's not the worst thing most of the time
 
It's annoying 100% of the time in the lift line and I will continue to call out kids for playing music that nobody else wants to hear.
 
Not a fan, if that's your music...great. It almost seems to me like people are bragging about their musical interests when they bring a speaker and I just don't care what other people like listening to that much..bring headphones

It's better when people are singing along loudly. Better still when people are singing loud and they don't even have music playing to accompany them. Makes my day when see people so stoked they are just belting it out.
 
I've noticed this a lot of people just hiking around in parks. I hate that. If you've got a private location with a group of friends that's fine but if you're in public and you're letting everyone hear your stoner beats it's distracting. wear head phones.

Good related story though. We were at a downhill bike race and a group of people had gathered at a particular feature along the course and someone had a sound board app on their phone they could play through their speaker. They could blast sad trombone for people that fucked up or didn't hit the large jump.
