People 21 and under I have some questions for you

Why are you all politically correct, self indulgent, wimps?

For real I went to visit a friend at college and I havent been out of college that long but god damn it has changed in the 5 years since Ive been out. No one was raging or partying. Everyone was using unnecessary large words to sound smart while wearing clothing that is far to tight and sucking down on their e cigs. What the fuck happened ? I said the word Mexican and 2 people were all over me like I punched one in the face and followed the passed out Mexican to the ground and kept punching with a death crazed look on my face. We go to the store I pick up a 30 rack because there is a group of us and they all eye rolled me and they each grab one tall craft beer and pay for it like they just bought something godly.

So please tell me why you all suck at having fun and taking things with a grain of salt.

I fucking hate all this "politically correct" bullshit, it makes everyone else a pussy.

Yeah, as someone who is currently attending a liberal arts school, this is a huge generalization. There are some people who take it to the extreme and act like you described, but very very few. There are still parties galore at least 3 days a week, minimum.

using "big" words and being socially aware of the world around you isn't being a pussy. Just cause one isn't getting shit faced and screaming FTW doesn't mean he is a pussy.

on the other hand, they do sound like a bunch of assholes for judging how you were going about your life. BUT, aren't you judging their lifestyle as well? food for thought

This has become the norm at my school. Everyone parties, but when people are sober they judge mad hard.

Beginning of the semester cops cracked down and arrested 40 kids who threw house parties. And about 30 since then. So basically there are no parties unless there are less than 20 people and everyone is over 21. They aren't taking it easy on them in court either. If you're arrested for a party and youre in a frat, you can say goodbye to that.

Luckily our house hasn't been fucked with but we aren't retarded and keep our parties closed to skiers and snowboarders only. So I guess thats why we've lasted so long.

Tl;Dr UB party scene went from 100 to 0 in about 24 hours. Lame as shit.

We had the same problem when I was in college the cops would go to any house with 20 people or more and bust people for drinking.

One known party house did something kind of smart, they held a Friday the 13th party and asked people to bring stuff to a party as if it was for 13 year olds. People showed up with soda, chips, video games, no beer or drugs at all. The cops showed up like we thought they would and it was the best fucking thing ever. The cops rolled in like they were going to bust drunk people realized everyone was sober and they got so fucking pissed. They didnt know what to do and it ended up with 7 cops yelling at sober college kids at 10 pm on a Friday for being sober and having fun. They kind of freaked out and started to search people to find anything to make their visit valid. But they didnt find anything. After that they backed off a lot because they looked like idiots and they didnt like that.

hahahaha that's amazing. You real life trolled the police, hahaha.

Yeah last year the cops were so chill. We had a party broken up (no ticket or anything just a warning) and in the process two of the cops found the mini ramp in the garage. They asked the guys who lived there about it and a couple hours later when their shift was over they brought their boards over and skated the mini. It was awesome. Cops would come in to break up parties and give the house owners high fives for throwing sick parties. Now they arrest people and only give warnings to guys and girls of sports teams. Which is lame.

this happens at every college ever, in a cycle. it will be bad for a year and then slowly get back to being fun, and then they'll crack down again

Yeah true. Actually, it may change in the next few years. UB has a north and south campus. Most frats and other college kids have houses right next to South campus. So now the school is trying to build a greek row up on North campus... like 25,000 square foot houses... Fucking insane houses for frats and all that so they can be contained to that area. A big issue with the parties is they're in a "neighborhood" which is a whole other fucked up issue. But anyways instead of keeping those houses accessible to college students they're trying to build greek row to keep people away from that area.

UB is really laid back but Buffalo cops are not so chill about it and thats where the problem lies. If you live in any dorm thats not a freshmen dorm you can have alcohol as long as one of your roommates is 21. And you can walk around your building with alcohol as long as you aren't causing trouble. The school sponsors tailgates and allows kegs too haha. Like it's awesome, it's just the off campus stuff has been pretty rocky lately. But hopefully things calm down enough that they aren't so strict on it. I feel like the past month has been to make an example, and then this winter/spring they won't as bad.

yeah i went through that at my college. luckily it happened a month or two before i turned 21 so i was safe, but still it sucked for all the younger kids. college kids are crafty, they'll figure it out

Is this real life?

you base every single person 21 and under on your interaction with your loser friends. Wow.

Come to a Canadian university

Maybe it has something to do with the amount of discipline that parent give their children. That being said, I honestly have no idea man.

Lol so last week the sailing team threw a gangster party where everyone wore baggy clothes and one kid got corn rows like riff raff. Then our dean of student affairs sent out a campus wide email on how this was cultural appropriation and wouldnt be accepted on our campus.

I was the dumbest email ever, and then the school newspaper article about it explained how corn rows in general are appropriation of black culture.

Seriously this is the shit that happens at our school. The worst part is half the kids here think that the party basically insulted black culture and was racist. the whole politically correct movement is just one persons opinion on whats right. People make up new things that are deemed racist and suddenly you cant dress up as anything on halloween.

Definitely nobody drinks nice beer here tho and they sound like pussies

Why are you partying with college kids when you're 5 years older than the eldest one? I feel like this is a poor reflection of you.

EL OH EL, if you're in a frat you're a circle jerking cumlord anyway.

I feel like you are trying to hard, like you were trying to prove your point when punched the guy/bought the 30 rack, if not you wouldn't be so insecure about it.

You honestly just sound ignorant. Some people just prefer quality over quantity and don't use offensive terms. They are called latinos, not mexicans

thats like saying americans are offended by being called americans because we are "caucasian". get that shit out of here

I wouldn't consider myself politically correct in anyway shape or form. However a lot of people do kinda freak out when I say words like the F-A-G word or other words that refer to others religion. Idgaf and they should either. Grow up.

So last week my friends friend came and visited him at college and he's like almost 30 or something and he would not leave us alone. He kept asking us about parties and stuff but we really didn't want to tell him because we didn't want to have bring this creepy lame guy to a party with us. He started to talking about how he hated the PC movement so we devised a plan to be really politically correct to get him to leave us alone. it started working and he was complaining about how lame we were and it seemed like he was ready to leave. The final straw to get him to leave was when we went to the liquor store, he went a got a 30 rack and we all just went a got some craft beers and acted like the 30 rack was stupid and obnoxious. So he finally left and we through the rowdiest party without him!

I too struggle with PC ass people occasionally. I think it says a lot about who they are. Which is why I make a point to be as vulgar as possible to weed out the pussies. I've definitely noticed the trend emerging in some colleges. I have a friend that goes to Seattle Pacific University and there are some real queefs out there. Any racial joke, slur, or explicit utterance grants an immediate silence along with awkward glances between the members of my audience giving each other a telepathic "did he really just say that?"

Yeah bitch. I did. And it was funny as fuck. Kids were paranoid about everything too. We smoked and all they could talk about was how crazy it was "errrmgherd are we really gonna go back to the dorms right now?! breeeh so heeeeigh." Stfu. They wanted to come with us to ride street as well, and went all paranoia on us the whole time saying we were gonna get in trouble. Every time someone walks by they're like "oh shittt they're calling the cops we better dip." No. I'm gonna enjoy my street spot. Chill.

Not everyone is this politically correct, it's just some people. But you can't say shit without one of them going off at you so you just shut the fuck up and don't communicate.

Nahhh fam it's true. I'm in school currently, I'm considered a punk(which i don't mind) because people say"you swear too much". OH and because i don't enjoy listening to pop music when we're all drinking together i get called a hipster. Lol people suck. But yo make more edits again haha

do the mods still ban for this shit?

Also don't go to shitty colleges with shitty people... I go to CU and despite the liberal social justice warriors there's plenty of dope people and awesome parties.

This thread seems like a party and all, but I think I'm just gonna go back to my regularly unscheduled intranetting.

Happening to my high school atm. My freshman year was fucking rowdy. After that, shit went into a recession and wasn't that great my sophomore year, and they started cracking down. Now, its slowly building back up, and next year we will go out with a bang like the seniors did when i was a freshman.
