Pens vs. Caps Game 7

I don't really care, but Ovechkin has really made me interested in hockey again. So, go Washington?

Varmalov's fucking brute, finally they put theodore in at the end, but i mean wtf were the caps thinking with varmalov, he's been so bad the rest of the playoffs, he can barely make a glove save
w/e, still rooting for the bruins
 
he's just been playing like shit in this series being unable to save those high glove shotsidk he was insane in round 1 but really died down in round 2 imonothing compared to fleury

but right now, penguins gotta win cuz boston has trouble against ovechkin and they can handle the bruins. oh and they just won 6-2 so yes!
 
i want to see a wings-hawks series that would be fucking sick.

too bad whichever team from the east makes it to the finals be it pittsburgh or thebruins or the canes. they are going to get destroyed by the west. im rooting for anaheim, got cash on them as well. a hawks vs ducks series would be fuckin sick.

I'd put money on the hawks beating either anaheim or detroit. they've been playing so well lately and i don't see any signs of them slowing down either. anyways a detroit chicago series would be sooo sick. epic rivalry.
 
Yeah Varlamov's glove hand is pathetic. Personally I think it just took the Pens a little longer to really recognize it and exploit it. But you have to remember, the Pens are full of offensive weapons. The rangers... not so much. Varlamov wasn't really tested in the rangers series, and had a load of confidence coming into the second round. His flexibility and dexterity helped him to own the net down low. But it just took a few games to expose his weakness. But I wouldnt exactly call Fleury's performance stellar. I mean he was good, considering the shooting power that the caps have at their disposal, but I wouldn't say their was a game that he "stole" from the Caps. He played well enough to allow the Pens offense to do the rest.

Oh and the unsung hero of this series was definitely Pen's D-man #4 Mark Scuderi. This guy is a beast at breaking up plays, blocking shots, and just always being in position and not getting burned. You could probably make a highlight reel of his defensive plays from this series alone. This poor guy will get no mention in the newpaper articles and blog posts tomorrow, but he deserves to be in the top 3 stars of the series for the Pens.

Ovi's checks are so fucking reckless. Thats the second time he took a huge run at Malkin that ended in Epic Fail.

Ovechkin is such a sick player, so i'm disappointed that Caps lost, but I'm still cheering for the Ducks... Hiller is absolutely amazing, and he's a rookie, he's going to have an outstanding career, especially when he leads the Ducks to winning the cup.
 
Ovechkin is the worst best player to walk the Earth. He is very good, yes, but a dirty, classless (for hockey) player who should've been thrown out of the series for the shit he pulled.

ovi is a tough dumb hockey player like it should be... crosby is just a pretty boy. and hes honestly quite the pussy. It had to be said
 
He may be a pussy but he just helped beat the Caps..... so he is good in my book. The difference between the Caps and the Pens is that the Caps rely on their one star player, but the Penguins have a team of several: Malkin, Staal, Crosby, Fedetenko, Letang, Fleury (most of the time)
 
there are plenty of players out there way dirtier and bitchier than ovechkinwhile i think they're both insanely good, i don't really like either ovechkin or crosby
 
i hate people who give crosby shit. he deals with the most shit by far in the nhl. no one gives him a break and he is constantly harassed. yeah he might whine, but do you honestly blame him? he comes into the nhl and everyone expects him to be a god. ovechkin in my oppinion is not necessarily a better hockey player. he is one of my faves, but have you ever looked at him on the ice when he doesnt have the puck? he stands around, doesnt back check, and really puts no effort into it. as soon as he touches the puck though, hes dangerous. crosby on the other hand, plays pretty much textbook hockey. ovechkins hands and speed and shot are still fucking sick, but hes a goal scorer, not the true all around hockey player. either way, this series was a win win situation for me cause i like the pens and the caps. i would have liked to see washington take it and get the cup, but now the pens can make up for thir loss in the finals from last year.
 
I just criticize crosby for being a whimp. yah hes a hell of a player. but the guy has no balls and he complains all the time, and to hockey players thats one of the worse things you can be. as a hockey player you should be tough and not tell everyone that your hurt so that your allowed on the ice for at least one more shift. Everyone else in the league does it and sucks up the pain, why shouldnt he? because hes a super star? he lets that stuff go to his head
 
You realize you're talking about the league that just waived an automatic suspension for a guy who broke a bone in another player's face with a sucker punch, right? Ovechkin is nowhere near being a dirty or classless player in this league.

Ovechkin plays with his emotions. It gets him into shit sometimes, but I'd rather see that than mr. "waaaa they're throwing hats for a hat trick, make them stop!" crosby. It's such a shame Crosby has such a big vagina, because he is an amazing hockey player. If he quit bitching, I'd like him just as much as Ovechkin.

Anyway, disappointing end to an otherwise amazing series. I was hoping for a game 7 overtime classic, not a boring blowout.
