Penalty for not following junior license restrictions

I have my junior license and in NY i cant drive more than 1 minor whos not my immediate family, and i can't drive at all after 9. its a pain in the ass and most kids at my school break these rules regularly cause cops won't pull you over unless you've broken some rule of the road- but if they were to pull me over for speeding or something and found i had my junior license and 3 other kids in the car what would happen? is it just a larger ticket or would i get my license suspended?

In Montana you can't drive past 11 for the first year. I got caught driving at 11:30 when I had to leave my friends house for a family emergency. Turns out ticket for driving past 11 is a 500$ ticket or 6 months in jail

i actually did a bunch of research and nys only lists restrictions, not penalties for breaking them because they aren't expecting you to break them i guess. thanks for the other answers though

In all honesty, if you don't feel those laws are just break them.

It's not hard to not get pulled over, just drive the speed limit, don't do stupid shit. If the cops do pull you over for something bullshit like they think you've still got your junior license restrictions and it's 12 at night, ask them what you were pulled over for. If they say some bullshit, assuming you were driving responsibly and in the law, don't even identify yourself. Hiibel v. Nevada says you only have to present identification to law enforcement if the law enforcement have reasonable and articulate suspicion that you committed a crime. Unfortunately for them, them suspecting you of breaking the junior license restrictions is not "reasonable and articulate suspicion" in the court of law.

My history teacher who went to Cornell Law and was one of the best lawyers in Manhattan said that at least 70% of cops pulling over teens are actually doing it illegally and are doing it based on "DWT" driving while teenager. Basically our law enforcement is so corrupt that they see a teenager and pull them over illegitimately and of course American society today is too fucking stupid to assert their rights therefore what is an unconstitutional and illegitimate traffic stop becomes a reasonable detainment.

Yeah the insurance not covering you is a pretty major thing. It's not just about fines and penalties.

If you're trying to justify cops pulling over any teenager they see that's pretty stupid. I think even teenagers with nothing to hide would even agree.

heres the thing

i would tell you to grow a pair and stop being a pussy, but after getting stupid tickets and stuff, i would say just either abide by the laws and have older people drive or whatever, or be very careful about breaking it. because the stupid laws put in place to "aid" united states citizens are nothing but revenue benefits for the government, and also annoying as fuck. Its not badass at all to break these rules, but the repercussions are just plain stupid and bothersome.
