I have not seen a full thread about the whole movie so i made one. give your takes on it

i was a bit underwhelmed of the whole thing. didn't like the separate parts thing and wished they just made a 20 min full movie thing. filming and editing was good, nothing spectacular.

some of the parts were sorta weird though. Ferdi had 7:40 min part, and it was mostly just slams, don't think he is too used to backcountry skiing. would rather see 2 min of Ferdi in the park than 8 mins of slams in the backcountry. sick music choice by Ferdi though, Tøyen Holding is the dopest hip hop duo in Norway and Linni is also quite sick.

Øystein Bråten's part was my favorite, he is such a nice guy, always good vibes. He filmed most of it in Riksgransen Sweden and in Norway was nice to see. good mix of backcounty and urban and a song that fit it well. hope to see more videos from Øystein in the future, as he is retired from comps as far as i know.

Joss definetly was the one who seemed to have put in the most work into his part, good urban, good backcountry and a more full feeling part overall.

don't want to comment all of the parts, just took out my favorites.

Øystein's part was sick! Definitely my favorite as well. Some reused shots/spots from Henrik's Salute which was a bit bummer but overall sick part both on streets and in the backcountry.

not a fan of dropping part at the time, would like to see a full cut in the future
 
I thought the whole thing was pretty sick. A lot of guys that haven't put out footage in a while which was cool. Definitely think it would have been better as one video though

Absolutely.. splitting up limits the flow… hard to get invested in a movie when I have to wait to watch all of it
 
wish they'd have added all the parts together when they were all out, would've made for a far more engaging experience
 
I dont rly get the idea of dropping seperate parts. When you're making a movie the big picture matters the most and dropping movie by parts its ruining the whole idea.
 
The BTS of the thing was better than the actual movie itself. Super cool to see how the group created this movie. From the tricks itself to Quinn asking a snow plower to blow some snow into a lip for a wall ride on a bridge.
 
The movie was nice, but it didn't bring the same vibe than a SLVSH cup or even a single game would bring. It's an unfair comparison but that how feelings work. SLVSH games / cup just need to come back?

My thoughts exactly ☝️ Skiing needs a proper behind the scenes vlog just like this AND a proper pro podcast like Monster's Unleashed by Dingo & Danny (Monster has a sick team of skiers but they've only had the ? in the show so far) or the Bombhole. A Youtube channel where someone deep in the scene & know watches old & new edits and talks about them would be dope too. The production does not need to be glossy epic big money shit. Someone like Woodsy or Joss or Napes etc please make this happen!
