Peace Pipe at Mount Snow

Peace Pipe is coming up at Mount Snow on the 27th. I'm planning on going this year and I've never got to go before. I hear it is tons of fun but don't know too much of what to expect. What's it like, is it just open skiing having fun, are there events, etc? Just want to find out more about it, thanks all!

I went 09 and 2010. It was just open riding. As far as I know its still just a sesh.

Its a blast though. They put in some solid features every year. Also if you skate usually a little sesh on the deck mini. The only reason I haven't gone since is there's a music festival in IL this weekend every year.

100% worth going to.

Sounds just as fun as I hear, can't wait to go! Thank you!

yeah it's sick, just a cool little spring sesh with a handful of rails set up and maybe a tiny little jump carved out of something. everyone is stoked and having fun, ive loved it the couple times ive gone

Likely going this year with a lil crew. Anyone have any information on camping nearby or even at Mt Snow? Didn't really want to make the 3 hour drive twice in one day especially with riding involved. Would prefer free hidden gems or low cost rustic campgrounds, we just wanna chill by a fire and drink beer after. We'd obviously respect the location and clean up after ourselves.

Theres some camping in somerset VT near Mount Snow - not sure how good it is, but its an old airfield.

The green mtn forest is right next to MS and since its a national forest, you can really just post up wherever you feel is right.

Also you're not allowed to camp in the parking lots at mount snow

went last year and plan on going again, good way to end the season.

hopefully its not 8 million degrees this time tho

Definitely gonna make my way up there again this year! It's super chill, significantly more crowded than I would've expected but still a good time

There's a nudist camp you can check out on 112 on the way up lol

looks cloudy/sunny and cool thank god, last year was my first time and holy shit that sucked, khakis were the wrong choice too.

Ok, here's the full rundown.

It's going to run from 10am - 4pm on the 27th, right at the base of Inferno, no lifts, all hiking, and it's FREE.

There is no real format or events, it's just a time to show up and get one more day in. We don't have the final build plan done just yet, but it will be coming shortly on the Carinthia IG account.

Anyone have any other questions? HMU.

Long down tube is a must

Not going, but I guess they have a "snow road" for hauling new pipes. Has anyone skied it? looks like it would be mad fun

I saw that, if there was more I'd say they just run heavy metal and setup like 10-12 features along it for the jam.

Such a fun 6 hours, great time, for sure going back next year!

We arrived to the smell of weed in the air and knew it was gonna be a good time. So many people holy shit though.

was a good time until I went swimming in the mud landing of the long tube when there was no snow

I think I sprayed a ton of people in the landing after coming in hot on a 50-50. Sorry lol

Assuming this will never happen again?

Damn rip. That was a good one.

Glad to see that mt snow still had some good looking parks but that was a vibe, and VR def hates good vibes.

Something about setting up rails in the pipe till june, the mini ramp on the deck, events like peace pipe or building rail setups in October.

Miss those days
