PBP Movie

yeah they are, but i only know that cause some tanner gopro video said pbp20 at the end

not sure what 20 means, cause 20 years ago was 94, and the first few pbp movies i'm aware of are definitely not from 94... more like late 90s i thought. but yeah sorry that's all i know
 
Johnny D started Poor Boyz 20 years ago. It took several years to get enough footage together and industry support to put a movie out (fade to black). Look for a teaser in a few weeks and the movie will be out this September and it will be amazing.

Either way, PBP and Stept should drop their trailers soon because I need something to be excited about during these summer months.

If they could put out something comparable to every day is a saturday I'd get pretty stoked. That is one of my favorite movies ever and its been downhill since then

Stept usually drop their trailer very late, very close to the release date.
 
If it's anything other than XX=20 I'm going to write Johnny Decesare a strongly worded letter.
 
where is the trailer already? The only thing that pbp has posted on their facebook in a long time is a kickstarter video for money for a new surf film, does johnny care about ski films anymore?

I wouldn't be surprised if Kai Lenny's endorsement deals are worth $1 million a year considering his Nike, Red Bull, Oakley, GoPro and Hurley sponsorships. Before you say that's insane, take a look here. Yeah, those are all top surf comp guys and girl but I expect Kai to not be that far off as he's surprisingly well known and marketable as hell. Asking for $25k seems like a joke.

I'm not going to speculate about Johnny's passion because he knows how to find me... but it's not smart that PBP hasn't said anything about their world premiere although I expect it will be September 5th as Level 1 is September 6th. Level 1 really makes PBP look bad with the tweets and the grams these days. I hope their movie will be great just but it's hard to get my hopes up when Level 1 is coming at us rapid fire and PBP is stagnant.

Definitely my least favourite part in Tracing Skylines, but I have absolutely no interest in urban. I respect the talent it takes, but I didn't enjoy it.

kai probably isn't there because he is sponsored for more than just surfing. he is on Naish for windsurfing and kiteboarding and paddle-boarding

its hidden in the level 1 calendar, if you search you'll find it. have to say this is 1 of the craziest trailers I've seen. I won't give too much away, but that video of tanner skiing the crazy line is just the tip of the iceberg, i can tell you that much.

why does poorboyz not feel the need to promote themselves? do they realize the fans actually enjoy updates and edits? is radio silence really a viable strategy for competing in an increasingly competitive industry?

Trailer was actually very sick. Looks like I'm going to be buying my first PBP movie in years!
 
Anyone know what role Decesare had in the new film (new filming/editing specifically)? The press release seems to be throwing his name around a lot, which is a good sign.
 
I don't know if I'm the only one but I feel like this could be PBP's last film, with the whole looking back at those past 20 years thing, and considering the quality of their recent movies.

I was thinking the same thing. The fact that they're tossing in old footage makes me feel like theyre done.
