Paypal + Debit Card Question

I have my paypal setup with my debit card. My question is does paypal charge the debit card like a credit card so i get a statement and junk or does it automatically subtract the payment like a normal in-store purchase? thanks for helping a paypal noob.
 
by "debit card" I assume you mean the bank account option of paypal.

Yes it just takes it from your bank account and will show up in those transactions at your bank as a withdrawal. It does take a few days to clear though before the person you send the money to has access to it.

 
no you can have it linked to your debit card but the second you get money into your account you then open up a balance and you have to link your bank accountif you haven't received money yet it's a direct link from your debit card and it should show up the same as a store transaction from my experience
 
yea i just bought stuff from the NS Store and i received it so i was just wondering. thanks for the help
