Does it get really really crowded? Is it worth paying the cheap ticket and skiing with a shit ton of people or is it better to pay more mid week but get better skiing

I was there last year, really wasn't too crowded , just like a normal Sunday (i think it was Sunday at least)

Dear Tschums,

I see you are tiring of the capitalist system of living, and the insane crowds and lack of snow at the horrible east coast ski resorts. Have you ever considered skiing the Tieback Mountains instead? Just a few miles from the seaside resort of Wonsan lies some of the best skiing in the world at Glorious Masikyrong Ski Resort, and I would like to extend you a personal invitation to come ski our extensive terrain and experience the ultimate in luxury accommodations. Masikyrong truly is world class. As an extra incentive, we have some of the best riding in the world, as you will never have to worry about traffic driving to Vermont, and the insane crowds associated with the east coast. Surely, you are tired of dealing with the crowded riding conditions of the South Korean dump that is Killington on a weekend? Unlike the east coast, Masik Pass has received ample snowfall this season. I would love to welcome you to experience the joy that is skiing in the DPRK. Although our rails may not be as extensive as the ones at Mt. Snow, I can assure you the glorious snow surface and lack of crowds ensure that you will have an excellent time skiing in the DPRK.

The Democratic People's Republic of Korea is a genuine workers' state in which all the people are completely liberated from exploitation and oppression. The workers, peasants, soldiers and intellectuals are the true masters of their destiny and are in a unique position to defend their interests. Having mandatory equality all necessary is provided for citizen. Thank.

Yours,

Kim Jong-Un

Supreme Leader, DPRK

I thoroughly enjoyed this

double post, but I dont give two fucks if its crowded I want to ski with my homies that I dont normally get to ski with so I'm going since itll be crazy cheap

I got out to ride during my lunch break today and if you like slush it's actually pretty nice, park with definitely get pretty chundery fast but on slush days I love to tear up all mountain. I'd say it's worth it but I'm also pretty biased.

Spring dayss take it out of the park and shred the hill! I love the moguls in the spring

They announced today they are going to start snow making again starting Friday throughout the weekend while it is cold, so it might be pretty good

That's like burning $100 bills this time of year

They did that two weeks ago and I went and it was 45 and it was soft but the grabbiest shit ever. Hopefully they just maintain inferno so it's open Saturday.

After all the rain this week its not gonna be worth the trip lol my seasons over

Looks genuinely AWFUL in southern VT right now. I was planning on going up but would only ski for like an hour. Mt snow could be fun if they still have a decent setup up. In terms of actually riding though...conditions are miserable. Its that chunky icy death cookies type refrozen over and melted and than frozen again type snow. Hard to dig the edges into that kind of stuff

Maybe but they'll probably do alright. Hell even the fact that they announced it will probably drum up a bunch of business even if they didn't make much. Plus everyone else will be closing, so they'll get that.

Also probably trying to slang them season passes for next year.

That said I don't think I've ever heard of making snow this late. This winter is crazy shit

Oh yeah and pay your age day it's best to go nitro>gulch/prospector>inferno

After a few hours sometimes nitro is packed and rutted/rutting out. If there's a 4' bomb hole on the landing there's probably 3 people in it while 8 people are on the 10' box and 75 people are dropping into it.

Idk. I haven't gone to a pay your age in 4 or 5 years but just remember nitro being a shit show after a few hours.

Luckily people always stayed away from inferno other than the spring, and even then, it was never very crowded. Less features but bigger jumps.

All mountain spring time at Mount Snow is one of my favorite places because you get all of the park kids building these little side booters and shit around the mountain that make it so much more fun. Like on Cascade there's one that goes over these trees and it's a fun time
