so i know this has been said before but pats peak made a change from last year for the better. i went there today and its actually not too bad

just kidding i've just always wanted to say that. Anyway, the future is looking brighter for Pat's park, it was sick when i went there.
 
they have 100% of their trails open and a park with a few fun jibs. It's nothing special but its better than last year and wicked fun.
 
the exact park setup is as follows10-15 ft jump on right, down-flat rail on leftpole jam on left3 sets of jumps, all about 15 for the small ones, 10 for the large1 single jumpflat box on left, flat rail on rightdown culvert tube on left, a frame rail on rightweird-ass tree tap thing
 
sounds like a pretty legit early season set up. my friend won lift tickets there and i think were going to go soon.
 
I have a ticket to go there but ive never been. if someone wants to shred and show me around that would be sick. I was thinking of hitting it up sometime early next week.

dont forget the s-box at the other park enterance

and the jumps are like 10 or 15 to the knuckle. you need to go like 20-25 to get sweet spot and not land in the giant crevaces that form late in the day
 
Pats park looked pretty decent yesterday. I was up there with some kids from a non-profit I volunteer with and took them to the park. Too bad I had surgery on my back so I could not throw down hard and sorry if they snaked you on the box, I explained to them the rules of the park after our first run down it. That being said, the jumps looks a little shady, but the boxes and rails seemed to be on point. The tree bonk at the end needs some serious help. To the kids who were slaying the box, you all looked super good, I know one of the kids had like 7 tall teez and a tall black hoodie on. I watched you guys for a little and was very impressed with your skills.

Also to the kid who was rockin the new Empire pipe golves, I dont know if I said thanks for the feedback, I will pass it along.

 
Props to Pat's for making a decent jump line rythm section. I had so much fun on it even though everything is probably thrashed by now.
 
I was there 3:30- 4:45 and the park looked so much better than last years. No more shitty spine!!!!!! I saw a good deal more freeskiers there than last year too. Hit me up, I'm in green/white/orange with octolands.

A snowboarder friend of mine probably overshot the third jump in the lower line. He was convulsing for a few minutes and most likely broke his collarbone or injured his shoulder. I didn't actually see the fall, came over the rise and found him in a seizure with his helmet 20 ft below. If you saw it from the lift, please let me know. I put my gloves behind his head, but beyond that I understand you shouldn't hold them down. Still very hard to watch. I blocked off the jump above and I'm sorry for holding up lower Turbulence for so long, but thanks for your understanding. Patrol reacted well once they arrived and he was aken immediately to the ER. Put a damper on first day at Pat's for sure
 
i will be at pats tomorrow night with a couple of friends, probably filming. hit us up if you are there. i have reno jibs and am an instructor
 
i just went today. The park was good but the new one seemed a little sketchy. Still it was way better than last year
 
hey cummings, someone in my department ratted me out while i was taking those two runs with you yesterday. it was worth but my boss went rip shit and now i'm not allowed to ski on my breaks.
 
ski jobs are supposed to be fun... I think people forget that sometimes. whats the point of working at a mountain if u cant ski? That shit bugs me...
 
so maybe it was me but all the rails and boxes i hit at pats two fridays ago didn't slide well at all...like i couldn't make it to the end of the boxes they weree so bad...whats up with that. also it is just me or are the lips on those jumps like straight up?

but even with all my criticism the park does look much better with the jump line and all. but ya i wanna go there after school on thursday and practice spinning off some relatively small jumps so i guess its a good bet but i wish the rails slid better and i dont think its my skis cuz i was at mount snow yesterday and they're boxes slid SOOO damn good...too bad its 3 hours away
 
who's down for tomorrow afternoon? I remember last year there were a bunch of exeter kids who came on wednesdays. And last friday, there was a big bunch of freeskiers that came around 4:00. Any of them on NS?
 
i was there last night. big brown lrg sweatshirt with fortitude skis. and i actually love that jump in F5. about a 45 foot gap to the knuckle but you can go about 55 without hurting yourself. it looks pretty sketchy at first but hit it a couple times and its nice. the landing could be put farther back and be made taller but i am impressed with it and hit it everytime i go now
 
I was just at pats yesterday if anyone was there i was the kid in the blue suit with red tall tee on rentals because i busted my binding third run of the day. I did see an unfinished battleship rail too which looks like its gonna be sick. The new down rail could be a little bit longer too but other than that the parks sick. Also I go to pats every sat/sun so if anyone wants too meet up then just pm me.
 
connor and cody arent. i keep telling them to get an account. and ian, he is the guy on obsetheds, i dont know if he got his watch lifes yet
 
yeah ian i was riding with mitch sunday, and robert i just got them back today and i'm going to get them mounted tomorrow and then hopefully go late tuesday night or just go wensday if we get a snow day
 
yeah i was riding with you and mitch haha. that storm may be tracking too far south to get a good amount sadly :( im gonna be at pats tomorrow night
 
i just got my surfaces i think i'll get them mounted there but i think my brakes are too big so i wont be able to carve hard, but if you have any brakes for some look px12s just sitting around that will fit a ski thats 90 under foot you should find me somehow and give them to me lol
 
its very possible i'll be there too i just need to do a huge amount of work for school but if i finish it all i'll be up there.
 
They put up a new butter box in the f5 i havent hit it yet because i saw it in a picture that they posted today but it looks sick. Will be there sunday to hit it, not going tommorow because im going to mcintyres ski area tomm for there big air comp just to win free shit and check out the dirt bikes naults honda is showcasing. Also its just funn to hike there little setup they put up with a bunch of friends, its pretty much like a backyard setup lol.
