Pats Peak Skier Invasion

so basically i'm kinda pissed with pats cuz the park crew only has snowboarders on it and only allows snowboarders on it. the park is somewhat decent but lacking steep landings. talked to park manager and he said theres nothing he's gonna do about it. my idea is to get a shit load of skiers together and lets just lap the park and cut off all the snowboarders we can. if i can get enough people together for this lets plan a date?
 
Yeah, I'd be happy to get some more skier friendly features in. Not sure if prodding the boarders into a rage is the most effective. I've never gotten kicked out for being a skier, they just make features like the cannon pole with no tranny/ride on only that discriminate ridiculously. Landings are flat as fuck too, but everyone suffers there. The rail jam should be open to anyone too. Get with the times Pats, its no longer called a "snowboarder park".

On a better note, the short boarder with tight pants rips and seems pretty nice too.
 
Ben ross? he's pretty sick. and nice. talked to him couple times. the main problem is phil the park manager. we should hold our own little rail jam and get some prizes some how. fuck pats peak. they can't stop a whole group of skiers with poles
 
I went to pats like 2 weeks ago and the park was terrible. the only feature I liked was the flat box. it was a pretty icy day so that might have something to do with it, but i was very not impressed haha
 
Yeah man, the snowboarders dont want to fix shit for us so lets gang together and piss them off more! Then they will definately help!

No, send the higher ups in the resort an email, or have a bunch of skiers/snowboarders keep plugging away at this guy. Talk to the other kids on park crew and let them know whats up. I'm sure you can find a better way to go about it.
 
i was their saterday night the c box, satir set and wall ride were all sick. but the jumps could use some work and that poll jam is scary as heck. Phill is wicked chill the couple times i met him.
 
yeah i talked to phil the other day. he was asking us how to make the park more skier friendly. i just put out there steeper landings and better lips. he's like "to have steeper landings we need bigger piles of snow". all i was thinking is nahhh dumb ass. just get off your ass and cut them steeper
 
the jumps are super sketchy, I was up there two weeks ago and I went to hit it the first one and was like nahh that shit will send me back seat for sure. They def cater to the snowboarder there. There are some good little jibs in the glades (I think the hurricane glades).
 
I don't remember too many jibs in there, maybe a few tree bonks, but that's it. What I love about trees there are all the mini drops that line up so well. I was there last wednesday and, with a foot of pow, there was nothing sweeter than a 3 foot stump drop to a mogul you can air of off, to just straighlining the liftline under vortex. We also hit a drop skier's left off of tornado, definately a 10 foot cliff, but the landing was pretty much to flat. Good times. Has anyone hit the wallride yet? How is it?
 
i was there friday night and there jumps are definatly a lot better than they were last week. the landings are steeper and smoother. everything is set up nice except the transition to the wall is a little bit sketchy. heres an edit from friday the 6th

west wind/ twister glade (you enter at the top of twister and can take it to the top of puff if you want)

rails and boxes slide smoothly once you are on them

have a lift sort of dedicated to the park

i don't ski there much any more

 
yeah just keep talking to admin.

my solution would be dont go to pats, go to a bigger mountain like snow. Or even crotched is much more skier friendly
 
My dada just told me that pat's peak is gonna be used as a testing facility for EMS. I dont know how that would affect the park, but seems pretty cool since they sponser Meatheads.
 
that'll be sick if its a testing facility for EMS. does your dad have like a legit story on this though? how'd he find out?
 
I hate when skiers flip out at snowboarders, I am a snowboarder and I have nothing but love for skiers. In fact I ride with more skiers than boarders. I think skiing is dope as is snowboarding so I will talk to this guy everytime I go and ask him to make the park more skier friendly. STOP THE HATE BETWEEN SKIERS AND SNOWBOARDERS!!
 
it isn't so much that the locals don't get along. all the boarders at pats don't mind me accept the little stuck up faggots. the problem is that there are a lot more boarders at pats than skiers. but thanks for loving us. haha
