Get yours before they sell out again! Not even promoting but I just got mine and they're an absolute game changer that everyone should try. I've never had heel lock like this, they paired perfectly with my 3 piece boot. These shit on every booster strap ever. Seriously.

Going to try out a footbed from them too now.

It locks around your liner and the tongue of the boot, so it’s essentially two straps that lock your leg in that much more to the boot.

I know what it is I have owned a pair. Doesn’t effect heel lock though.
 
Ok well maybe it is placebo but I do feel like my skiing is much more responsive after using them over stock strap
 
They dont improve heel hold, they just make it a bit more responsive when you flex into your boot. Its an upgrade from a velcro powerstrap but its not gonna change the fit in the ankle portion of the boot

curious if anyone has insight to booster straps on a boot like this with the top buckle replaced by a strap and then no extra strap above that one unlike a traditional boot.
 
You could mount the booster just above the top strap. It’s supposed to be on the liner and not the shell anyway so as long as the liner stays that high with the boot on… but I’m guessing it could work.

If you think an aftermarket power strap is changing your heel lock your boots prolly just don’t fit around your heel perfect
 
Where is the heel lock confusion coming from, is it the term "heel lock"?

It may not improve heel lock directly because it is not directly involving your heel, but if your shin isn't driving forward as far, allowing your heel to raise, that would definitely keep the heel "locked" down more
