Parking lot skiing

So last year i went skiing in a K-Mart parking lot where i am going to collegewhile we have like a 50ft hip jump that was made by the snow moundswe were pulled in by a car at about 30mph and while it was a fucking blastafter prob. 2 hours of fun..... a cop finally came and told us to leave(shitty)
The only reason that we could not is because the parking lot is private property "i guess" and thats why we could not
Anybody think I could convince K-Mart or any other store like that to co sponsor a Big Air and rail jam contest at night using their snow piles in their parking lot and being pulled in by a carthey would co-sponsor with the ski/snowboard RSO on campusWe would have everybody that participates sign a waver saying that we are not held responsible for any damages of any kind type thing
Also would their be any incentive for a store like this or with a large enough parking lot to hold something like this?
Please any ideas would be great

i highly, highly, highly doubt it. soooooo many liability issues, what with cars driving all over the place on snowy parking lots and towing people behind them. which is illegal in the first place.no harm in asking, but don't get your hopes up

i ski in the parking to my car at the mountain.
but my friend has a big yard with hills and we built a 40ft step up and got towed in by snowmobile, one of the funnest yard seshes ever. he also welds rails and he set up probably 20 different rails all over his yard and we used his roof as a drop in, also another very fun night

It's a possibility, though not very likely. Before you ask them be sure to have an answer for every question, write stuff down, don't just try to come up with answers and deals on the spot. You'll also need to talk to the police I'm sure.

this is such a good idea, even though it is illeigal. the kmart parking lot near my house has such huge piles of snow. it would be epic

I have done that too.

If the cop asks you to leave, just leave. 2 hours in a mall parking lot is probably enough fun.

There are a lot worse fates than being asked to leave.

I think it definitely is possible depending on where you live. If you live in like California or Boulder or North parts of the East Coast I'd say without a doubt they'd let you. Especially if you got some well known riders to attend. It's also be a good way to get big non ski companies involved in skiing. The trick would be to get enough people to go and enough media attention for it to be worth the risk for the company. Oh and if it does work talk to red bull about a catapult or a snowmobile b/c the car towe in probably would not fly with them. Try to make it sound as official as possible too if you do try to set it up. Oh and back to location if you live in the mid west or lower parts of the east coast you might have a little more trouble getting them to allow it. And you might wanna consider having the big show during the day when it's warmer to. That's all my advice sorry it's so chopped up but what can you do.
