are any of you guys parks sponsored by some company? ours (Bromont) is sponsored by Bud Light and they throw sum pretty sick parties every few weeks. how 'bout yours?
I think special blend and DC just provide gear for the park crew. The park crew don't do anything though so it pretty much sucks. Nike 6.0 and Oakley gave the park a couple of boxes though.
Oakley just used to pay them to put the die cut behind the lexan on the wallride, but they stopped and now DC pays for that spot, so technically DC is the only sponsor of the park, but nike gave them a box and pays them to put it out as well. SB and K2 hook up park crew, so im sure they try and plug them periodically. I want to say that our rails are sponsored by the mexican government but I know its not true
sunapee has a Sobe sponsorship. they installed a sick sound system all along the park trail, only problem is that the sound echos a little so there are spots where the sound clashes
I remember it being way more than I would have thought, like $20,000 for the season or something. Nike paid them $5,000 to put their box up, although from the sounds of it they would have done it for free (i mean, really, free box)
haha exactly like our park!! their setiing one square box( like 3 foot long. not kidding ) and then start to make the park 2 mont laters and they faynally make the only kick we can have ( 20foot) 3 month after the oppening day. plus all rail are set by snowboarder for snowboarder... fuck my life
i'm gonna revive this with a question. last year we didnt have a sponsor for you park, and a the past couple of years before that it was scion who backed us. so now this year we dont have a sponsor and were looking for one.
so far this is the list i was thinking of contacting
-subaru
-sobe
-nike 60
-pow gloves
