Park skis

masterminds are super soft and light weight.Ar7's are very poppy and pretty light weight.Both good are good for park but I prefer the ar7's.I would also say look at some t-halls and halos and even the k2 domain.
 
I bought mine last friday and I could have gotten them cheaper if I had waited a week but whatever,still totally worth it.
 
So im gonna buy the ar7 so do you know where i can get them for less than 500 dollars and what size should i get cause im 6 foot 2 215 lbs
 
K. those are 500 stil though. i gues i could make a thread and see if anyone knows where you could get em cheaper. And why not 176. Right now i have 169 k2 extremes center mount
 
if you want buttery and still good for jumps, atomic punx or armada t-halls would probably be your best bet. You might have to wait till the end of the season sales start to get them at less than $500 but as long as you have working skis right now you probably wont regret waiting it out to get better skis for your money.
 
I am having a tough time deciding between the ar7 or thall. I seriously have no idea. People say thalls will be just fine for my size and some peeople say they wont. Im just getting a lot of mixed answers.
 
funny because theres a ton of people on this website that swear by the t-hall...skis are totally objective and I daresay whoever has the ar7s is just a better skier than the guys with the t-halls.

To the OP:

The AR7s are more all-mountain oriented, and not very buttery, while the t-halls are park oriented and a good mix of buttery but still stable on jumps. If you're going to be spending >50% of time in the park definitely go T-halls, especially if you're lighter, and even if you're spending less than that amount still consider them. The AR7s will be less buttery but will perform a bit better all mountain wise. If I was in your situation I'd pick t-halls, but you can't go wrong either way really, they're both solid skis and have their merits.
 
So i just figured out i can get either this yeard ar7 for 384 dollars or this years alpha 1 for 437 dollars. (also this years k2 domain for 335 dollars). So i dont know. i can get the alpha in all the sizes and the ar7 in a 179 which is all they have. Also i can get the domain in a 179 which is all they have. What do you think i should do. They are all really well priced so its sort of fair game for all of them. +++++k to all of you for the help i really appreciate it as well
 
seriously though,I find my ar7's have alot more pop than the t-halls do too.I never really could get very good nollies until I rode ar7's,seriously.Then again,experience,skill,and preference all fall into play when debating between two skis and especially two so similar.
