I need some help with buying a new pair of Park skis. Im 5'4 almost 5'5. I weight around 115. What I have in mind so far is the K2 Domain, Line Afterbang.

What are some other good skis. I need a pair that has the size option for 158/159.

I want a ski that is buttery, able to handle rails and is good for hitting large jumps.

+1 for Jskis.

I spent the last weekend in Mammoth on my new Allplay Twisters and they are definitely the best ski I have had. Easy to turn in the trees and wide enough for ~8" of fresh.

I rented/tried ar7, al dente, chronic and afterbangs before i just went for the Jskis.

Sorry but you guys are fucking idiots, although JSKIS are awesome, they don't come in the 150 size range.

Domain's a good shout, i hear good things although i've never ridden them.

Armada Al Dente is also a good bet.

Good luck

Is 5cm really that much longer? 164cm is the smallest Jski and he said 158/159cm

Yes it really does make a big difference and is noticeable. I went from a pair of 171's which was too short for me when I as 13 and then went up to 177's and there was a considerable change in how much stability I had.

Im around 5'4 almost 5'5, would 164's be to big for me?

No. Theres always a few factors that come into play in getting a certain type of ski but 164 sounds pretty much perfect. If J Skis size accurately, then you are just as tall/ maybe a bit taller than your ski, which is what I like especially in the park and if they have rocker which they do. Also with J skis if you don't like them you can send them back for a full refund. So if you happen to think they are too small, too big, or just don't like them, send em back and get the other ski.

J-skis run smaller than advertised. I tape measured the 164 whipit and it came out to 161 actual length. It's a very noodley ski with short effective edge, probably amazing to butter around on, but I ended up returning mine because I wanted something more solid for jumps.
