anyone hit that new mini butter box where the flat box used to be. fuck they must of done a lot of work last night. i did not want to go to work this morning.

anyone know if theyve put the box back somewhere else or if that super mellow tube rail is coming back.

yeah i just saw that it looks super dope,i did kinda like the butterbox though. im gonna go hit it tommorow and il update i guess if someone else doesnt already. not sure bout the box and i want the tube back! it was super fun

k i was there today and guess what....no butterbox! yeah i was pissed too cause i really wanted to hit it. no sign of the pipe either. everything else is lookin pretty dang good though

serious, they got rid of that shit already.

it was only little, but i totally wanted to try r180, sw3left on that.

its killing me, such a dope weekend for park riding. im deep in some serious fucking withdrawl symptoms and its only tuesday.

Black Pipe is making a comeback....some stuff got moved for our 'Jib Lane' which is in the works. Butterbox was extremely well liked, Ill see what I can do to ensure its return somewhere. It was kind of thrown together when the 20 box was broken...

Since we got an inside man (PaulT) I thot i'd make a few comments. Haven't been up in a week, but most skiers i've talked to think it'd be good if there were wider get ons to the rails (for getting on switch), as well as being slightly more of a jump on,, i know snowboarders like ride ons, but if you make a nice jump on right up to the start of the rail its kinda the best of both worlds, snowboarders can still ride on, and skiers have a nice jump for spinning on and such

word.

the up/down and the battleship are to sketch for me to even try on skis right now with no gap.

paul, do your thing.

the up-flat-down (thats a battleship right? yeah?) used to have a really nice jump onto it, the lip was still a ride on, but it kind of shot you onto the first part of the rail and it was really nice...

i'm still waiting (along with almost everyone else) for jumps like this

last year they were so nice....what's going on.....?

ahhhhhh i know! i want them soo bad!i was to much of a pussy to really try spinning them last year and the ones this year are kinda boring to...build em up!

wow, after spending a weekend at TROLL MOUNTAIN, i realize how lucky we are... they have rails made out of wood with this super slippery plastic shit wrapped around it, and the jumps were all crooked and weird.

appreciate.

oh shit yeh, them were the days.

they found enough snow to build the med line, so hopefully the real xl kickers are next.

Park Update....Tables have gotten a face lift with an added 10-12 ft. of snow pushed onto the top of them...they look massive. Should be entertaining. A-Frame is now a gap on for those that inquired. Slopestyle comp is today (friday).

Oh...and the large battle is now a jump on too. The Large flat/down is all good to go. Spent the last couple of days rebuilding the take off!

Rest of the weekend runs like this....

Saturday..Pipe and Sunday Boarder X.

Saw the jumps in action today...they are pretty massive. The lip of the kickers are easily my height of 6'...the rock-hardness of the snow made for a busy day for Patrol.

NO!!!!!!!! ive been waiting for the jumps to get bigger and right when they do i have to leave....damnit...Red Mountain better have some pretty sweet shit tomorow. i saw a massive wall ride when i went by so that looks entertaining....its absoloutly massive...

soooo, they really built up the kicks on the xl line. holy shit that was fun today, kept over rotating everything cos just sooooooo much time in the air.

Thats good to hear. Anything else you guys have in mind that you need me to fix up or change? Just let me know.

i liked the butter box before it broke, you actaully had to jump up onto it instead of just kind of riding and bending your knees

well...once the big box gets fixed, maybe make it so it's not as high, or make a better jump onto it. it was fun, but you really had to pop and suck your legs up if you wanted to slide it which made it harder to do spin combos on it.

It was a high jump on...I saw all kinds of people including me, clip a tip being lazy and get owned. I can definitely take care of that.

definitely keep it high off the ground still tho, just put a better jump on......... also,, on another note,, since the park is getting better and better might as well step up the level,,, i was thinking it'd be great if there was a big gap onto a rail,, or maybe even a box,, something u can spin more than 270 on and still make it look good,, u can still keep it safe by making the rail/box close to the ground

have to do something about where that wide flat box sits, cos its a fucking gong show with everyone waiting for the xl line right underneath it.

maybe move that 20ft over to the left in line with where the downflatdown is now and maybe try and figure out something too divide the xl lane from the med lane below that - it can be a fucking joke in there.

yeh, and having the lip of the kicker to that box line up 5 inches below the leading edge makes spinning more than 90 on really hard, and switch on damn near impossible.

and bring back the big round 20 footer.

and paint my fence

now dammit

i dont know if anyone else has been there, but silver stars step up box is kinda fun. like put the big box or that one thats beside the 20 on an upwards angle and put a big gap at the end of it so you have to launch the gap and you could do some 270/450 off kinda things.

any kind of up rail would be nice, something you could just bomb down to and launch off the end and spin like mad the 20 would be good for that or even that pipe maybe.

how bout a tree stall that is kinda set up a little easier for skiers? theres the one in the woods beside where the large fun box was but its kinda hard to make it up to it cause you have to pop alot. stalls are super fun...tires work well for stalls to...

well im out of ideas but pretty much anything you can spin off of or stall or jib on thats fun.

lets get to work!

the tree stall thing could be set up like what was on the old t-bar ( the one that's to the left of the ridge chair, and is really old, and made of wood... you know...)

it was kind of like, a quarter pipe, but it was set back a foot or so from the support that you stalled on, it shot you right on perfect and you could push off of it a bit and land back into the quarterpipe... its all fucked up from being hit now. but the same sort of thing could work in the park

thats the prob with something like a tree stall - the kicker too it gets fucked in no time. better off building one with some mates and just seshing it.

but a quarter pipe with tyres on top would be dope for stalls - you could build it wide so it doesnt get beaten up too quick.
