Park or pow skis?

I live in Vancouver and get at least 50 days at the local mountains and about 10 days at whistler. I'm currently skiing on Rossi s3 and im not sure if i should get some powder skis and use the s3 for park or buy park skis and use the s3 for pow.

get something in between. k2 kung fujas or line blend. maybe a sir francis bacon.

several companies offer good options that are good park and all mountain.

My S3 are really good all mountain but i was wondering if i should get a big pow ski and use my s3 as park skis or get actual park skis

1 more for bacons, I got new ones this year, and they are amazing, I even had fun on them doing a little skiing in PA. They can handle anything, I have mine at -2 and they are even really fun on jumps

That doesn't make sense - the S3s he owns are already the something in between ski (they're almost exactly the same dims as the Kung Fujas and Blends). He wants to know what he should get in addition to those, something smaller or something bigger.

I'd say it just comes down to what you ski more. You want to ski more park use the S3s for pow and get park boards, or if you will be skiing more pow get something fatter. I'd always go fatter but then I ski way more pow than park.

i find my moment vices to be AMAZING for both. they are skinny but they are rockered in the tip and tail for pow also. only problem ive had with them is that they are kind of stiff

Has noone read the fucking thread? OP already has skis almost the exact same dims as the Kung Fujas - he's looking for something different, not the same.

You should buy some whateveryouthinkisappropriateandnotaskNSbecausewedon'tknowwhatyouridemores??

in saying that i think you should buy park skeez

I would reccomend him the Rossi S3's, I have a pair, they're sweet, something sort of in the middle for park/andor pow.

yeh look i will be honest. i have been struggling with embedding things. i just can't figure it out. but inbedding is the other end of the scale. thanks for your concern.

get like a 100mm ski with early rise rocker, I have the fishcer mavens this year which are like 87 under foot and only have a bit of early rise, theyre good in the park, but theyre pretty mediocre in soft snow, and dont really have a ton of float. I had rockered s4s before them and they were great for most pow days apart from the really big dumps. So im thinking my next pair of park skis will be something along the lines of on3p jeronimos, or jeffreys. Or moment pb&js.

also ive got a pair of bibby pros which are awesome but theyre mounted with mfd touring plates 4 cm back from center, so theyre not the greatest in the park. But you should just get a pair of those and mount them closer to center, i think theyd be a sick park ski, and they would obviously still shred in pow.

i had bacons for a long time and i loved them. even having park and pow specific skis now i still find myself wishing i could take the bacons out
