How does everyone feel about this?

I am OG, and I remember when it was at Twister, and I think it will work out VERY well being at Twister again. Looking forward to it opening.

Maybe this weekend?

Yea, I'm hoping for the best. The rail set up at the top will be sweet tho. And they should make a little kicker over that rolling heading over to coalchute like they had a while ago. I don't know, It'll be cool, better natural terrain position.

Wednesday Morning Update.

Just got home froma short stint this morning before I head off to work...

KB is dropping the ball once again. There is NO snowmaking on Twister, and no grooming. The hill is fairly light cover, and no progress has been made at all yet.

Yet, drive past North, and every snowgun KB owns is on Slalom run.

yea im happy its on twister. that was always a better hill than whatever it was on. i would really like it if it would open soon, like saturday because that is the only time i can come out until the 23ish. but to hope for that is way too much to expect out of kb. i hate college.

i was really alot better there, i remember in the 2000 winter you could hit 4 good sized jumps in a row. and in 2001 they had 2 pretty big ones with triple take offs, twister is definately better

yea it is pretty sick. but i wen t o kb on weds and there wasn't anything on the hill at al

no snowmakers

no rails

no jumps

The snowmakers are going full tilt. There are about 6 on Twister, running at what looks like 100%.

I am pretty pumped. That hill, if used all the way to the bottom has so much potential to be a awesome park run. You can actually set it up to have rails and jumps in one run, unlike the parks other location.

so how is kb doing right now...im gunna be goin there saturday for the first time since before christmas. conditions any good?

I dont think anything'll be there. I didnt get to talk to my cousin too much last night. But theyre making a minipark on top of Coal Chute I guess.

Regular conditions are great. Nsowmaking is continueing on Twister. No park yet, but the overall general skiing is great.

Decent amount of base on twister, good news for keeping the park open longer. btw, u kb so called newschoolers need to all give at lest a freindly hi, when u are near other park skiers. Theres not much love anymore.

Also one more thing, there is always alot of people that like to group together right after the landing for the up rail...Anyone should know this is a bad idea for both the people standing there and the people coming off the rail. I can happily say I dont see may tt skiers doing this, but if people are doing it, ask them nicely to get out of the way. If they still dont move then be an ass about it haha. Seriously though its big problem for everyone and it pisses me off alot, lets at lest make the attempt to inform clueless people.

lol, are you talking about me? I at least waved man. I was with my damn family all day, my aunt's home from FL and London this weekend or I would of joined ya probably.

And I agree, get those kids out of that landing, I get real pissed about it alo when I'm there, they don't understand to stay out of the landing.

yeah, i deffinately hit a kid standing in the landing of the up rail...which by the way, those are the most pathetic excuses for landings i have ever seen. little triangle shaped mounds...i would rather have no landing than that shit.

and the only time i saw you guys i was on the lift and you were going down. my voicebox doesn't let me yell.

i wasnt really tlaking about anyone from here that i know of. I would dfintaly take shitty landings over no landings why would u even say that?

because dropping a foot or two off a rail is a lot better than landing in a nice ice hole where a landing should be.
