After watching my local ski resort, 7 Springs, put up and ok park, then make into something horribly set up, I had to do something. I went up to the resort, took some pictures, interview some people and decided I was going to take it upon myself to design a new park and present it to the owners. I knew if I did it right and really researched it and knew what I was talking about, then they would at least hear and see what was wrong. I started drawing the old park, and then my new design. I made a power point presentation, a video of people saying what they thought about the park. I had pictures, measurements, estimates for pricing, people lined up to do the things that needed done. I sent it to them. I didn't expect anything to come of it, but they called me one day and asked me to come up and answer some questions they had about my design. I went up, met with the head honchos, talked to them, did whatever I could. Making a long story short, they liked what they saw, and I was surprised that they were actually going to go ahead on some idea that actually makes sense. They aren't going to use all of my ideas, but mostly all of them. So...look for the new park at 7 Springs coming soon :)

yeah thats a hard undertaking, congrad's. Alot of people wouldnt have the pactience to do something like that, to convice them and give them an argument like that, would take alot of time and effort, im impressed.

you should take it to the next level, anyone can say the pipe should be over there because it would get less sun during the sunniest part of the day and there should be a bunch of rails here etc. you should design as close to exact in measurement and cost as you can and then maybe they will pay you and i bet if you go to a chill school get math credit for it.

i'm looking into something like that....

did you find any measurements or sites on building parks? i've got the logistics all worked out, i just need to come up with designs, and something to look at and get an idea for would be good.....
