Park City vs Mt Hood

I am from the east coast and I have the option of going to Park City this March or Mt Hood this summer. If I went to Park City I would ski 4 days and if I went to Mt. Hood I would ski 12 days and go to mhssc. The thing is Mt Hood would be more then two times as expensive as park city and I would be broke afterwards. I went to park city last year and I loved it. I'm leaning towards going back to Park City. What do you guys think?
 
Or you could go to West Coast Sessions. Twice as much pros, newschoolers, sick parks, and a lot of fun. Probably be on the same budget as going to Park City but a little bit more expesnive.
 
I would say Mt Hood if you're going to mhssc. Park City is sick but if you want to really progress and meet a lot of like minded people then you're money is going to be better spent there, even if you end up having less by the end. What session would you try to come for?

sweet! I was going to tell you to avoid the earlier ones in June because the weather is usually the worst but you've got a good idea.
 
Ive been to Park city this past month and i loved it! tons of fun, this summer im planing on going to mt.hood

But id say go to mt.hood because that way you can get some skiing in during the summer which is great

yeah snow on palmer is good right now. At 8,000 ft it's been snowing pretty consistently rather than raining. We usually get hammered in March and April and didn't stop snowing until middle of June last summer. Have faith. It will come.
 
Be aware if you come to hood in the later sessions, the cat track going from the east past the silcox hut to bottom of Palmer melts out and then mhssc becomes a hike park. Or you at least gotta cross a rock marina or 2, but then again theres dirt everywhere in summer. Still a damn good time though
