Park City or The Canyons

I'm going to be spending my winter in Park City. I'm looking at lodging options that are really close to either PC or the Canyons. Which resort is better? I've skied Park City, but not the Canyons. Does the Canyons have any sort of park?

If you want to ride the park primarily live near Park City. The Canyons park is not that great and did not have a pipe last year. If you want to freeski and do that stuff The Canyons is a better place. The have open gates which Park City has none of.

I'm not going to lie I do like The Canyons. It's fun all terrain stuff. They have some good pow and tree runs. The park got a lot better last year and I think it will be even better this year. For the most part the people are chill but there are snobs but probably the same or less than Park City.

i was at the canyons over mlk weekend last year and it was pretty fun, but not amazing or anything. I hear that theyre putting in some brand new features that have never been used anywhere ever this year, so it might be sweet

exactly. i skied both over spring break last year, and pc's rails were way better than canyons. however, the last two jumps in canyons park were so ill and the whole park was a lot of fun. they've got a lot of good trees and terrain outside the park too. PC's ill, The Canyons is ill too man.

that may be true, but other than park riding, i preferred canyons to PC. its less crowded, and as someone said, the bc access gates are open and its easy to hike to some stuff thats really fun.

I rode the Canyons towards the end of this season, they don't know how to set up a down flat down very well but they had alot of fun sick features and it wasn't very crowded the local kids were way chill, and everyone was having a good time. PC is always fun, but if your looking for real great skiing your on the wrong side of the mountains either go north, or to SLC.
