Park City Opening Day...

I don't think anyone knows, and I doubt they'll know until about a week before.

But I would say there will be at least a few boxes.

I'm definitely not expecting them to have a full line like last year... that was a treat.
 
i pray with all my heart. the weather up here is gonna be in the high 20's though at the end of this week so they should be good to go with blowing snow. i would love love LOVE to see a nice line down homerun on opening day
 
Yeah no way theyre opening the 14th, its slated to be the 21, but they are not afraid to push it back to thanksgiving weekend...they did it last year, and if warm temps creep back in, theyre not gunna stress on pushin the date back

And its suppose to be down in the 30s starting thursday, if they blew for like 2 nights on top of that picture they could open it looks like + natural snow this weekend.
 
wow thats alot more snow then i thought they woulda had after lst weekend.i thouht all the snow would have been gone but hopefully the cold temps linger and they can crank out some snow and get this season rooling SOOOON
 
yeah ive been up there every day working. no way they are opening this weekend. the pic looks like they have enough, and yes you can take a top to buttom run on home run, but theres not really enough for them to have tree to tree coverage to open. plus theres not enough people up here to open the resort yet, and no one has started training.
 
So stoked. hopefully they have more runs open than just homerun, eliminating the gapper walls on death would be dope.
 
ive been watching the mtn cams obsessively and it looks like they can definitely have payday open too and maybe more. Ide rather have them put the opening day park on payday, it would decrease number of gapers. either way im stoked.
 
Homerun has a milder slope that works better for little jibs and such. And usually I just go around the wall of gapers, and its not too too bad. I donno, I went to brighton today skiing the horrible lip forsaken park and I am SO READY for PC to be open.
 
why do you need lips to get on something that is not even a foot tall? its not hard just pop
 
The number of runs open has yet to be determined but we will for sure

have Homerun from the top of PayDay down. We will have a couple "park"

features on Homerun thanks to the hard work of our new terrain park

manager, Jeremy Cooper, and his team. Check back later this week for

more details on opening day.
