Park City Is Killing It

Just moved here last month, Park City's terrain parks are awesome! A solid 22' pipe, alot of great jibs. good flow and space. It seams awesome that the features change up to keep it fresh and not boring. I really appreciate what PC is doing looking, i am forward to buy a pass for next year! Thanks Park City!!!

have you been around to the other resorts? i bet not because you have probably been too busy riding park city (because it sucks so bad right) eheath it looks like you got some videos of pc why keep would it be a joke you seam to be here, if its a joke why not leave. put your money where your mouth is. or is that at kfc?

Whoa buddy, who the fuck are you?

And if you're actually new to PC, this whole post is questionable, This is the worst PCs parks have been in probably 10 years, is disappointing and us pass holders have every right to complain about it. Canyons and brighton are starting to actually compete with PC, which is sad.

park city's parks are good fun, have you tried riding them? or do you just sit at the bottom with the pro hoes, listening to what you boyfriend says about it?

Mostly just all down features and no creativity is not killing it for me, next year I am most likely going canyons cause their park kills pc IMO

Yeah dude for sure I never ride the park i sit around and film all day and finger my bfs butthole.

OP is clearly one of the following:

clueless

from the midwest

a park city employee

park city WAS killing it, in december.

go ride the canyons and take notes on how to set up FUN, EXCITING, INTERESTING jib features (but ignore the jumps lelz)

well i enjoy the parks at PC,, the canyons is fun the long run is sweet, but i though it was the whole picture not just jibs. Yall need to ride more and bitch less

if you actually just started riding pc then you just don't get it.

and i wish i could ski more, dick.

i am new here to pc but i have been around to quite a few resorts that dont put forth the effort. i can just appreciate when they have, i wasnt brought up with a silver spoon in my mouth, getting only the best . im just saying park city is fun, im having a great time. go out to some other resort get outta town and check out the world, you might like what you have here. i think its sweet! SKI MORE BITCH LESS!

I grew up in montana, the mountain i skied until i was 16 had no park, i know how it is. You don't get it because you've never skied PC before until this year, of course its amazing to you but to us who have been here 4 or 5 years, this year is very disappointing. Stop acting like you're so much better than us because you appreciate PCs park.

Personally, I like PC's setup currently. Its really, really fun like usual. But last years setup was way more funner I think. They really need to change kings up badly. Adding 2 new bonk features, a step-over and getting rid of that god awful hip jump thing is not cutting it. The rail section is almost a month old. Other than that, I am having one hell of a time super lapping eaglet and pick.

well mute boy you as well have a new account, you must be a spy from colorado, congrats on that nice you found NS to voice your opinion. i have been checking this site out for a few looking for someone who likes this place such as I do who would actually like to go ski, and have fun, thought i would see if anyone else likes the place, if i wanted to befriend a someone who gets a happy meal from their mom every time they go to McDonalds, i would hit you up. if you look at heaths videos you can tell he skies at pc, i thought your bitching was from your girlfriend breaking up with you on myspace, and you should leave it there, as job goes i hope to get a job next year as a lifty ive heard its a good place to start in the industry and probably get a pass, if everybody is a judgeful as you who skies pc maybe ill get a job at Canyons or Brighton next year, since there parks are sweet as well and people seam like they dont need to try to impower themselfs due to lack of size.( do you drive a lifted truck?). its only obvious that there would be a debate with the three resorts that have parks in the area. thanks for putting it all together for me now i know my place maybe if i just complain about every little thing i would fit in, but im not going to McDonalds any time soon or we could hang out in the play place.

Holy shit, if you are a PC employee you shouldn't be working for them anymore.
This is not smart on your part because, If you "love this place" so much, then maybe you would have a more positive approach to the people trying to give feedback. There is a lot of constructive criticism in Heath's thread and he makes some damn good points. You, on the other hand, just are sputtering nonsense. Sure a lot of it is nit picking and probably not worth the time to do it, but at least give a response to let them know it has been heard.
Correct me if I am wrong, but I haven't seen an official PC representative respond to any of the suggestions/complaints that have spurred on NS. Pretty poor representation considering there are a lot of season pass holders on this site. To me, that is very unprofessional. Seeing this thread makes me remember why I don't miss PC.

Ya'll bitch too much.

PC has been super fun this year, but has also gone through some stages.

It's better than any mountain in Indiana, Wisconsin, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire (with the exception of Loon maybe), Pennsylvania, Michigan, Massachusetts, and any other state that you people are from with the exception of a few.

Sure it's not Breck or Keystone, but it's not bad. And it's not 10 degrees everyday with hour long lift lines and trustafarian's from Boulder who think they run shit.

And we get a good amount of snow. Just go enjoy it.

there shouldn't be any exceptions. i moved here from that area of NH, i don't want one of my home parks to be better than the park that was part of the reason i moved all the way across the fucking country.

it's pretty simple. Park City could easily be the best park in North America. They have the snow, the features, the space, and most of all, the talent pool. Unfortunately, they just don't want to try that hard for some reason.

im sorry, but 7 Springs in pennsylvania kick the shit out of park city parks. Only thing there lacking is a long season and reliable snow. Now that i actually shred these days, i wouldnt even think of moving back for just parks. SPT and the springs crew is out lappin and raking all day long keeping everything fucking perfect. PC is not what it was last year and from what i hear the same goes for other years past.it would be nice to see there crew actually out raking more then one time a day as well. but the new double line is tits so at least got that and a decent jib flow right now.

lol

glad you threw idaho into that list of east mountains.

sun valley is really making a comeback though. their park has improved so much over the past two years. but i cant wait to move to utah and ski real mountains and parks with more than two shitty jumps and ride-on rails.

but anyways, im bummed to hear that park city is slacking. i was gonna go there over spring break. would the canyons or somewhere else be a better choice?

haha yeah there are a few gems hiding in idaho. Sun Valley is considered California as far as Im concerned.

Park City is DEFINITELY not slacking. Just compared to other years It apparently is. Everything has been well maintained, features are almost always built right and the amount of shit to choose from is ridiculous. If you can look at the park and see more than just the green rails, it is a crazy fun park to flow lines through.

No but im just saying, im sick of all you noob pc kids who are like OMG its the best shut up! when its no where near the best.

Your right keystone is a lot better. The only point im making is that this thread makes PC sound a whole hell of a lot worse than it really is. Minus the Kings situation I see nothing wrong with Park City. But what do I know its my first year here.

I was never comparing it to keystone, i was comparing it to even last year, pc is slacking so hard and you first year kids need to realize that we have every right to complain, just because you think you're so cool going against us saying its dope doesn't mean you're right. the kings situation is a BIG FUCKING DEAL dude, pick was always the secondary, kings was always the most skier park and when they had jonseys, we never skied pic.

Your right, I probably would be just as pissed if I had been riding PC for the past 4 or 5 years, but you cannot deny that regionals has been shitting on PC, giving the impression of it being much worse than it is. That was my only point.

Im not arguing you because I think im cool, thats just stupid, who would I be trying to impress? Im expressing my own view of PC which is that it sucks ass I never got to experience jonseys, kings and anything else that PCMR was known for prior to this year but other than that what people have been complaining about has been slightly nit picky. Excluding speed problems on the skier right drop in. There were some pretty stupid features put there this year.

Evan Heath, we cool?

yo i was wonderin. I went to PC to ski park (3 kings only) and Im from NH (loon mtn.) and Park City makes loon look almost incomparable. So i was wondering what made last year so much better than this year?
