i was told that markers were good park bindings but with the recall i wasnt sure. does anyone recomend any good ski bindings. if it matters im 6'1, 190 and ski the ar7s
But yeah another option is the look px12 jib titanium. It's not real expensive and it's bombproof. Not as light as the fks but way cheaper. I've been ridin em for 3 yrs and never had an issue.
So what's this recall? Cause I jus ordered a set of griffs.
Thanks pipe...your a wealth of info. Actually...haha...I posted a thread last night but got no responses. Have you heard anything about that 12' tec agent 120? Supposed to be like a special order only thing or somethin. A bud in the industry said he was told about it but didn't know any details...only that it's available. He speculated that's its prob the same as the 11's with a color change.you heard anything?
At your weight you are going to need a sturdy binding, so I would avoid any plastic junk. I would go with either metal solly bindings, (916's, STH 16) or fks 180's. Those bindings are probably the most tried, proven and trusted bindings out there. This is assuming you are in the din range of these bindings of course.
my only thought on it being special order only is because tecnica a pretty high priced boot for the target market. i know it used to be basically a diablo race boot with a different colour scheme and pretty buckles. i could be wrong though.
that's what a lot companies used to do. i used to ski an atomic x-130 which was essentially a race boot in black and neon green with lighter buckles.
Yeah...and again jus speculation here...but I'm thinking pollard wasn't keen on the new tec boot line for next yr as it closely mimics the blizzard ski line...I'm thinkin he wanted to continue ridin the agent120. Purely spitballin but I can't see any other reason to keep it.
