i really dig this guy.... i have a feeling ns thinks hes gay and its all about reeeeal hip hop... ya ok...... but anyway he deserves a lot more credit than he gets.... seriously spits fire.... hes lyrically on a different level than most rap.....

heres a few songs to check out.... (all are available on youtube.)

I was born in new york ft. james brown (my fav pap song)

that nigga pap

love is a battle field

guns n' roses

out in new york

gettin' gwap

a fair one (rips fat joe apaaaaart)

if your from the north east and like me (from new jersey) i was brought up on the dopest east coast rap had to offer.... wu-tang redman jay the entire rocafella fam and i cant get over how retarted the rap scene is..... and i know most of you just go to the underground and what-not but i still like super hardcore grimey shit.... but if you look New York rap is still alive and kickin'

but anyway my point is we shouldnt put up with rap being so fuckin lame and by listenin to this kinda shit you can do your part in makin sure soulja boy get em gets his. and not in a good way.

Mixed feelings on papoose. Maybe once he gets a few more years under his belt he'll start being more consistent. As I said in another thread, the beats he raps to are just what i want to hear if I'm in a mainstream mood, which is the case every once in a while. I just can't get over some of his lyrics though. The first song you listed-that nigga pap-starts off like this: I keep my hammer tuckedpicture me scared of whata skinny nigga so i always pull my pants up>them niggas tear shit upwho me I dare 'em jumpthem niggas tear shit up hold up let me stand up
That's not flow, and it doesn't even make sense. I realize that it's mainstream, but in my opinion he doesn't live up to the hype you're giving him.

i used to love his verses. im talking about like 3 or 4 years ago, i thought he was amazing, but then he didnt come up with any mixtapes for a while so i moved on.

let's play monopoly and law library I II and III are soo good. and riding shotgun dirty with paul wall ahah

dude a few more years under his belt? pap has been rapping for quite a few years now. he spits some fire and has some awesome songs! But i do agree that he does need a little help on lyrics every once in a while

I want everybody to pay real close attention, dont get it twisted,

no man can murder papoose and ima show it

i trade places with dead poets

allpap.com used to be the Papoose eGhetto but it got shut down cause hes too 'hood

ya the mood muzik mixtapes by joe budden are fuckin NASTY i hate people that only know PUMP IT UP....

but its all good everyone has there own opinion but I Was Born In New York City might just be one of my favorite songs of all time.
