Pant Sizing Help for Holdens

I am 5 10 170lbs and i have a 32 inch waist. in the standard skiiny pants would the large be a good fit and would xl be too big?

i'm a 32" waist as well, i rock the large skinny. just so i can layer underneath it, and also, length is an issue as i'm 6'1"
