PANT CUTS!

AGGG first day out and I cut up my new ski pants. Any advice on how to avoid this? Anybody else have this problem?

I just mean is there a way I can prevent them getting completely trashed. Like 1 or 2 cuts is fine, but I can see them getting cut like everytime I go out.

where did they cut, the bottoms or in the knees?

Get multiple pairs of pants...and dont wair knee braces and expect you pants not rip.

 
i always get holes in the bottom of my pants because i kick off the snow on my boots by kicking the other leg in the heel of the boot.

Cuts like around the side. Imagine your doing a Japan grab..along that area, especially at boot level.

its just from steping on them and getting them caught in your bindings when you click in. And from your boot buckles. You could probably tape the insides of your pants where they get cut. But thats a hassle. I would just get over it. You'll probabbly end up buying new gear next year anyways so...whatever.

 
Yeah, guess so...I usually end up bying new pants every season. Just they looked so good! lol... I'm tall and lanky and it's the first pair that have fit properly.

If you crash a edge might slide along your pants and boot and slice them. Thats what happens to me, no way to stop it.

My friend you have never seen HOLDEN then. If you need pants that fit go find some HOLDEN gear, best fitting pants. I'm 6'5 and wear Larges.

 
stop being such a pussy... everyone has cuts in there pants around there... ive got about eleventy million cuts and holes around my pants its just from the bindings and stuff... it makes you look like less of a poser queer when you have cuts think of it that way

Hey fuck you man. Obviously I'd prefer to have my pants stay together rather than have the whole botton section fall off from slashes. How does having the whole piece flapping around my ancle make me look like a real skier? I'm not bitching about cosmetics, just I'd prefer to have the pants hold up since I'm not rich and cant keep buying new shit every year.

yeah, mine are pretty cut up already. it's too bad, but it doesn't change the performance at all, and it doesn't look too bad, so it's all good.

its from sharp edges. if your edges are detuned for rails, it drasticly reduces the number of cuts on the inside of your pants.

i cut mine up all the time, but i don't bitch about it, if it get to bad, get a peice of waterproof faberic, and sew it one the bottem 4inches of the pant to prevent it from falling aprt.

if u meant to say its to short to duct tape. what ever that means sew it back or sew something on top of it to cover it.
