so i know that this link is somewhere on the forum but i searchbarred and think im just not searching the right thing but does anyone know the edit where you can drag the dot to spin in the edit?

i disagree. i think its like a camera at the top spinning around and taking the shots, theyd be a little more seamless that way. like if the vid is 10 fps (it might be my computer but it does seem alittle slow), the camera is spinning 15 reps per second, and taking maybe like 6 photos per rep in different directions. so it takes like 60 photos per second? idk

and as for that cage thing you see around the filmer (move the view to look at his shadow) its prob for stability, like a glide cam type setup thingy.

but if anyone ACTUALLY know how this was done please let me know

Well actually there are a few different types but nothing like what you are talking about. I am pretty sure this one uses 6 different cameras that each get 95 degrees. The overlap is used when it gets stitched together. There is also another type that uses a conical lense. It records a 360 horizontal image and then captures everything 45 degrees up and down to get 90 vertical degrees. There is another type that just uses two back to back fish eyes.
