Just back from both resorts. Panoram has some nice long cruisers to rip, Tayton (sp) is legit, easily hike/traverse. We didn't have snow for 7 days and still found 2 foot deep fresh in Tayton. Good snow in the trees as well. One day out of 7 for us was worth it. Revelstoke was Awesome though.
We stayed in Golden and it took us 1:40 to get to Panorama and 1:30 to get to Revelstoke if I remember correctly. Watch Roger's Pass, the snow comes out of nowhere fast.
I have an extra ticket for Panorama on EBAY, my brother broke his binding early in the day and got his ticket refunded.
